Next students will travel back in time with the IMAX 3-D feature Titans of the Ice Age 3-D when they will be ushered from our modern day world to a larger-than-life computer animated world featuring a time before humans, when Woolly mammoths ruled the earth. This film will also emphasize the conservation of earth s natural resources and the effects it may have on global warming. Finally, as the seniors make their way to explore the many wonders the museum has left to offer, the juniors will end their day in the special interactive Kids Room before heading home. Thursday, April 14 th -Puppet Theater Glen Echo, MD On Thursday, April 14 th, the juniors will take a fantastic journey to the land of fairy tales at a production of Sleeping Beauty at the Puppet Co. Playhouse. The production retells this classic fairy tale in a way that no one could ever have imagined! Students will then cool off after a fastpaced week at the Rolling Crest-Chillum Splash Pool, located in Chillum, MD. Pack up their bathing suits and towels because they are going for a dip! The Splash Pool features a separate shallow pool playground area for our very young swimmers and non-swimmers. A tube slide and a separate pool area are available for our more adventurous and experienced swimmers. They have tested out different mazes and versions of this fastpaced game at several venues, but now is the time to take that knowledge to new territory. Shawdowlands, located in nearby Gaithersburg, will play host as we bring both worlds together in a futuristic game of laser tag. The students will then test their strength and daring at nearby ZavaZone in Rockville, MD. This entertainment center offers zip-lines, trampolines, rope courses and dodgeball; students will enjoy living on the edge, if only for one hour! Friday, April 15 th -Exploring Europe! Busch Gardens-Williamsburg, VA On Friday, April 15 th, the seniors will take their annual trip to Busch Gardens to enjoy a fun-filled day exploring the many countries of Europe through games, rides, shows and cuisines. This trip has become a Kingsbury Spring Camp tradition! Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided.
