Comfort Zone Coaching Questions Current reality: What do I do well? What skills and experience do I bring to my role? What have I achieved that I am proud of? What successes have I had recently? What positive feedback do I get from others? Future development: How do I want to build on my existing skills and behaviour set? What new experiences would be useful to me? What is my next challenge and how will I benefit from it? Etc...

Comfort Zone Coaching Questions cont. Avoiding stress: - What tips me into the panic zone? How does this impact on me? What do I know helps me stay out of the panic zone? What do I need to do moving forwards?

Goal Questions... What do you want to achieve this year? What does a motivating goal look like? What will this goal give you? How will you know you have achieved it? When do you want this? What interim goal will help you reach your end goal? Etc...

Reality Questions Where are you now in relation to that goal? What do you need to do to progress? What's getting in your way? How can you sort this out? How have you tackled a similar situation in the past? What are you most worried about in relation to this situation? What resources are at your disposal? Who are the key stakeholders & how can you involve them? Etc...

Options Questions How can you address this? What other options do you have? What would someone you admire do in this situation? What would you do if you knew you couldn't fail? What would you advise a colleague to do? What are you prepared to give up/change to achieve it? How will this impact on others? What support do you need and who can provide this? Which option works best for you?

Will Questions Which option will you take forward? What is the first step you need to take and when will you take it? What is your measure of success? Who else needs to know about your decision? On a scale of 1-10, how committed are you to taking this action? What else occurs to you? Etc...

Control and Influence Questions What can I control in this situation? What action do I want to take? How could I think differently about this situation? How might I be able to influence this situation? What action do I want to take? If I don't get the outcome I am looking for then what else can I do or how can I think differently about this situation?

Challenge Questions When facing a challenge: What is good about this challenge? So what might I learn and how will this benefit me? What next for me? When reflecting on a recent challenge: What happened here? So what was actually going on? So what have I learned? What will I do differently next time as a result?

Healthy Lifestyle Questions Play Time What things make me happy? What new thing can I experiment with? How can I do more of the things I enjoy? What will I build into this week? Connecting Time How often do I get to connect with people who matter to me? Who do I know who is positive and energises me? How can I spend more time with them? What can I do about people or situations that drain me? Focus time What helps me to focus? What helps me achieve tasks in a productive way? What helps me perform at my best? What changes do I need to make? How do you know your healthy lifestyle is being compromised? What are the signs? What do you now realise you need to do immediately to regain a sense of balance?

Healthy Lifestyle Questions cont. Physical Time What types of exercise do I enjoy? How can I build these into my schedule? How often and when will I do them? Sleep Time How can I ensure you get enough sleep? What helps improve the quality of my sleep? How can I recharge during the day? Down Time - How do I like to relax? When do I get to hang out with no particular focus or things to do? How can I create more down time? Time In - How often do I spend time doing nothing? Just sitting with my thoughts in the present moment, being mindfully aware?
