RND 1: Ch-1, (2 hdc, ch-2) 5 times in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (10 sts) RND 2-5: Hdc ea st around and work (hdc, ch-2, hdc) in ea ch-2 sp, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. Copyright 2011 DCollinsworth 3 Putting The Pumpkin Together: With needle and yarn sew the 9 blocks, 2 leg-opening blocks and Head opening block tog to form a ball, see photo. Top Left Leg Opening Block Top Right Head Opening Block Bottom Five Sided Block Line up 1 Five Sided Block, 1 Leg Opening Black, 1 Five Sized Block, 1 Leg Opening Block and 1 Five Sided Block. Sew them together to form a curved line. Line up 5 of the Five Sides Blocks. Sew them together to form a curved line. Line up the 2 curved sections as illustrated. This is how they will be sewn together.

Fold in half and sew the short ends together to form a ball without a top or bottom. How the ball or pumpkin looks sewn together. Sew the last block (Head Opening Block) to the pumpkin on one end. Carefully stuffed the pumpkin just enough for it to hold its shape, but still allow the head and legs to be pushed back in. Sew in last leg.
