NOSTALGIA Floor Oil Natural floor oil Colourless oil for wood surfaces consisting of carnauba and candelilla wax. Suitable for parquet, board and cork floors as well as massive wooden table tops in kitchen or bathroom. Nostalgia Floor Oil highlights the original surface texture of the wood providing an excellent durability and water and dirt repellency. Oil treated surface is easy to keep clean. You can also use tinted Parketti Ässä Petsi Stain for changing the colour of the wood surface prior to oiling it with Nostalgia Floor Oil. Coverage: 9-13 m²/l Packages: 1L, 3L DIRECTIONS FOR USE PRETREATMENT Clean the surface to be treated carefully from dirt and dust and let it dry. You can clean the surfaces e.g. with a detergent with neutral ph. Sand away the old paint, lacquer or oil layer with care, remove sanding dust. OIL-TREATMENT Spread Nostalgia Floor Oil on the surface with a brush, cotton rag or with spray. Let the oil absorb into the surface about 5-10 min. Wipe off excess oil and polish the surface with a dry clean rag. Let the surface dry about 12 h and repeat the treatment. Normally 2 applications are enough. MAINTENANCE Surface is ready to use in 24 hours. Clean the surface with a damp cloth or a detergent with neutral ph, if necessary. Let dry. Treat the worn out surface again, if necessary. Very dirty surface must be sanded before oil treatment. Remove sanding dust. Carefully oil treated surface is water repellent and easy to keep clean. CLEANING OF TOOLS Wash the tools with soap and water, or use White Spirit 1050.
NOSTALGIA Beeswax Oil Beeswax oil for wooden surfaces Solvent-free beeswax oil for treating wood surfaces. Manufactured from pure beeswax. Suitable for wooden furniture, walls and ceilings in dry interior premises. Nostalgia Beeswax Oil can also be used for wooden items, also for children s wooden toys. Protects the surface from dirt and gives soft and silky matt surface. Surfaces treated with Beeswax oil are not watertight and should not be exposed to very hard stress. Coverage:15-25m²/l Packages: 0.333L DIRECTIONS FOR USE PRETREATMENT Clean the surfaces to be treated. Sand the surface if necessary, remove sanding dust. OIL TREATMENT Apply Nostalgia Beeswax Oil on the wooden surface with a clean cotton rag or with a brush. Let the oil absorb into the wood about 30 min. Wipe off excess oil and polish the surface with a dry clean cotton cloth in the direction of the wood grain. MAINTENANCE If you must clean the surface soon after the treatment, do it lightly using soft brush or damp cloth. Remove dirt immediately with moisten rag or using ph neutral detergent. Sand the dirty surface, if necessary, remove sanding dust and repeat the treatment with Nostalgia Beeswax Oil. CLEANING OF TOOLS Wash the tools with water and soap, use White Spirit 1050, if necessary. Handle the surface with care for 1-3 days from oil treatment. The surface obtains its final durability within 2 weeks from the treatment.
NOSTALGIA Wood Wax Wood wax for furniture and walls Water-based, tintable wood wax for interior wooden surfaces. Nostalgia Wood Wax contains natural carnauba and palm tree wax. Use Nostalgia Wood Wax for untreated wooden, plywood or panel walls, ceilings, doors, window frames etc. wood surfaces. Wood Wax is absorbed into the wood forming a moist and dirt repellent surface. Coverage:10-13 m²/l Packages: 0.225 L; 0,9L Ginger (colourless), 0.333 L; 1L ready shades DIRECTIONS FOR USE PRETREATMENT Clean the wooden surface from dirt and dust. Moisten the surface lighty with water, let dry and sand down the wood fibres that rise up from the surface. Remove sanding dust. WAX TREATMENT Mix the wood wax carefully before use and from time to time during application. Apply 1-2 layers of wood wax according to the wood grain using sponge or brush with artificial bristles. Two layers of wax give glossy and elegant surface. Make a trial application with tinted wax to a hidden spot to check the colour before final application. Wood species affect the final colour and gloss. If you want lighter surface, you can add some amount of colourless Ginger EP base wood wax. Do not thin the wood wax with water. Handle the surfaces with one go, or larger areas 1-2 boards at a time to obtain an even end result. MAINTENANCE The surface is dust dry in 0.5-1 hour, second application can be done after 1-2 hours, the surface is ready to use in 24 hours. The surface gains its final durability approximately after 1 month from application. If you must clean the surface immediately after handling, use smooth brush or damp cloth. Remove dirt without delay with damp rag or using ph neutral detergent. CLEANING OF TOOLS Wash the tools with soap and water.
