Assembly Instructions Footprint 1 Transaction Counter on Cetra Panels Drill with torque option Tape measure #R 2 square screwdriver bit Level Note: Transaction counters need to be installed prior to any worksurface installation directly beneath them, especially when used with lower panel heights. This is required so that there is room to use a power drill between the bottom of the transaction counter and the lower worksurface. 1. Locate position where transaction counter will be installed on the panel. Insert top hook on top of transaction bracket into the J member slot at a 45 degree angle () 2. Push the top of the transaction counter bracket downward. (). Insert one left and one right handed transaction counter bracket in selected J member for each transaction counter. Wider transaction counters will include an additional right hand bracket to be placed in a J member near the center for support (). Figure D 3. Lay the transaction counter on top of the transaction counter brackets and align with panels as needed (Figure D). 4. Attach the transaction counter to the brackets with screws provided. Three screws are required per bracket. If you have any questions concerning these instructions, please call Kimball Office Customer Care. 2378040 Revision -

MODULAR CASEGOODS Interworks Desks Assembly Instruction Modular Casegoods Planning These instructions provide the basic information to assemble Interworks freestanding modular casegoods. To reduce installation time, it is recommended you install modular casegoods in the following order: 1. Pedestal 2. End Panel 3. Modesty Panel 4. Undersurface Lateral File or File Center General Information Worksurfaces accept Pedestal or End Panel in standard position flush left or flush right only (). Rectangular worksurfaces are illustrated. Four Spacers are included with all Pedestals and Undersurface Lateral Files. These ARE NOT used unless freestanding unit is part of systems installation, e.g. a freestanding return joined to a systems top. One person can perform all operations, although two may be required to handle larger, heavier units. Removing Drawers To remove Pedestal Box and Undersurface Lateral File drawers (): 1. Begin with top drawer (). Extend drawer fully. 2. Insert flat head screwdriver in between pedestal drawer and slide. Pry slide away from drawer slightly (). 3. Put one hand underneath drawer. Lift front of drawer up to disengage from front drawer slide channel hooks. 4. When front of drawer is disengaged, pull entire drawer towards you, supporting it from the bottom. This should disengage drawer from rear drawer slide channel hooks. 5. Set all drawers aside and slide drawer channels back into case. Do not try to remove the entire drawer slide.
