Flex Contracts for Full Time and Hourly/Overload Assignments Dates to remember: Submit Your Proposed Contract by: Friday, March 16, 2012 Completed Contracts due by: Wednesday, May 16, 2012 With this new release of the Flex Contract both Full Time Regular Contracts as well as Part Time Contracts can be accessed at the same time. All part time Flex contract hour obligations are rounded down to the nearest half hour. Here are a few hints to help with your proposed flex contract. 1) Bring up a web browser such as Internet Explorer, Safari or Firefox and enter the following url in the address line and hit return or enter on your keyboard. http://fmwebserver.deltacollege.edu:8080/fmi/iwp/res/iwp_auth.html 2) You should see this window: Enter sjdcfac as the account name and sjdcpw for the password.
The following window will be displayed. Select AS Flex db 3) Please select ENTER to continue
4) Enter your 9 digit Delta Id as shown and select Find My Form(s). NOTE: If you re not sure of your Delta Id you can do the following: Request it from your Division office Log on to On-line Registration - https://secure.deltacollege.edu/student/login/login.cfm?system=registration When you use your Social Security number your Delta ID number will appear. You can get your Delta Id from our Website by logging into your rosters. You may use the link below: https://secure.deltacollege.edu/emp/login/login.cfm Then choose Roster Certification Form
5) You are now ready to enter your planned flex activities. If you have more than one type of assignment (such as Regular Contract and Overload ), please be sure that you are on the correct Flex Contract before entering your activities. This is noted on the upper left of the screen in Green. Notice the Required Flex Hours, also in Green, on the right of the screen. This is your total flex hour obligation for this assignment, not over all, should you have more than one assignment type. 6) Please be sure to SAVE this form before navigating to another contract or exiting the system.
7) You are ready to start entering your Flex Activities. You can click in the next unused line in the activity area, or you may click the green plus sign. Be sure to click Save to save each entry. If you need to delete an entry after it has been approved, click the remove the activity. Button to permanently Note: you are not able to change the Activity Title or the Activity Category once an activity has been approved. 8) The Activity Category is a pull down menu listing all available categories.
9) You may change any information for any activity prior to the committee s approval by simply replacing the incorrect information and saving your changes. Keep in Mind: Any Flex Hours you report must be outside your duty hours. If you attend a seminar over several days, each day of the activity must be reported separately. (8 hours maximum per day) Click Save after each addition or change to an activity. Once your form is completed, check the two Verification Check Boxes certifying that the flex hours you expect to complete are outside your duty hours and that you will complete the planned activity before May 16 th. If you need to finish filling out your contract at a later time, click the Save Form and Continue Later button, then exit the program. When you are ready to submit your proposed Flex Contract for committee review, be sure the two verification check boxes are checked and click the Submit Plan for Approval button. You will be notified by campus email from the Committee on the status of your request. By logging back into your contract(s) you can see which activities have been approved and the date the committee approved your plan. COMPLETED FLEX CONTRACTS: Once you have completed ALL your flex activities, and ALL revisions to your plan have been made, click the Verification Check Box certifying that your flex hours were completed outside your duty hours. Click the Save Form for Printing button. Print the form using the printed icon in your browser menu or go to File and select Print. Sign your completed form and drop it off or forward it to the Academic Senate Office, Locke 109. It will be reviewed at the next Faculty Professional Growth Committee meeting.
