All wall pieces are meticulously selected... hand finished and printed with archival inks. Once mounted on museum natural fiber canvas or fine art paper, they are glazed with multiple coats of lacquer for protection and then framed in solid wood. We consider a 16x20 or larger a proper sized wall portrait. Portrait collections consisting of 3 or more portraits may qualify for bonus savings. It has been our experience that clients interested in a few gift sized portraits spend $500-$1,200. Clients who want museum quality canvas wall portraits, an album, or a painted masterpiece - may spend in excess of $2,500. These are truly an investment in your family history. Design Consultation: Stephen will meet your family and become acquainted with all participants. This is an opportunity to discuss a variety of concepts, session locations, and clothing choices. These answers will be based on the location your portrait will be displayed in your home. Your Portrait Session: Stephen will spend one to two hours documenting your family portrait as well as smaller compositions of your family. Image Viewing: You will be invited back to our studio to view and order your portraits.
