This weathered senior is having a good meal courtesy of my neighbor across the street from my house. This is very common, as facilities that care for seniors, are few in Nicaragua. These people, as well as the homeless in Esteli, have a route that they follow everyday for their meals and coffee or water. They occasionally change their routes but they still receive their food but from different houses and businesses. Social support Nicaraguan style. Douglas Thorson Esteli, Nicaragua
