Zeroing the reactive energy meter REACIVE EERGY REACIVE EERGY Same procedure as the zeroing of the active energy meter. Rear lighting handling Press (or ( ) in the spot version) to select from the options O (rear lighting off), YES (on) or IME (on for approximately 60 seconds after a key is pressed). o confirm the value set and terminate the parameter setting procedure, press. ote: for ADR-D E model it is better not to select YES option (rear lighting always O). When is pressed, all the symbols in the display will come on for approximately seconds, followed by the display of the main page. ote: if the power is cut off during the programming procedure, the instrument will memorise all the settings in place at the instant when this occurs. - 9 - ADR etwork analyser - User s guide

DISPAYIG HE MEASUREME PAGE When the instrument is switched on (or after the programming procedure) the main page is displayed after approximately seconds when the display is fully operational. When up ( ) is pressed from the main page, the following are displayed: all the other measurement pages in sequence. When up ( ) is pressed from the last page, the system returns to the main page. If V is >999 or I is >999, the relevant measurement will flash to indicate that the unit is not complete (prefix K or M missing). ) Main page k W he system voltage, current and active power are displayed. a) Setting the time and date (not in the spot version) h h When is pressed from one of the time display pages, the time and date can be set Press the up ( ) or down ( ) keys to select the required value of the flashing number Press to move to the next number he key can be pressed at any time to return to the time display page, with the memorisation of the modifications entered ote: up to the entry of the first setting,the time and date will flash. he time and date will also flash in the peak value pages. otal active energy E = E +E +E otal reactive energy Er = Er +Er +Er SERIA COMMUICAIO (not in the spot version) he instrument has an insulated RS-485 serial output he data communication system is based on the MODBUS protocol and is suitable for the connection of the following to a master device such as a PC or PC in a common RS-485 line: up to ADR (slaves) without the use of signal amplifiers, up to a maximum distance of 000 m up to 47 ADR (slaves) in groups of 0, separated by suitable signal amplifiers he communication takes place in half duplex and only the master (PC/PC) is able to start up the dialogues with the slaves, of a question/answer type (one slave only addressed), or with the message addressed to all the slaves (address 0) without obtaining any reply he features of the Modbus protocol implemented are: ype of coding: RU (Remote erminal Unit) ransmission speed (Baud Rate): 9600, 4800, 400, 00 bps (selected by the user) Byte format transmitted: start bit, 8 data bits, parity bit (can be selected): none, odd o even, stop bit For the Modbus functions and the use of the registers, ask the SA service for the relevant documentation. ADR-View software (optional) When the ADR-View software is installed (not suitable for the spot versions), it is possible to monitor all the values measured by means of tables and graphs, to set up a data file and obtain the trend of the signals over time. he software is available for Windows 98 or later and is based on a simple, user friendly interface. Minimum hardware requirements: IBM or compatible personal computer Pentium 00 microprocessor Mb of RAM (64Mb recommended) Minimum 0Mb space available on the hard disk VGA graphic card with 800x600 resolution (04x768 recommended) Colour monitor serial port dedicated to the RS-485 line connection - 7 - ADR etwork analyser - User s guide
