What a great way to learn some new techniques! Join Kay as she guides you through this 9 month program. TRADITIONS CLUB In January, February and March of 2015, we are finishing up our club from 201. Stay tuned for a new Traditions Club starting later in the year. BERTIE S WINTER BLOCK OF THE MONTH We re doing ours in wool with a flannel background and borders. Just imagine! You can have this done for Christmas 2015. Judy will lead the 7" x " group for 5 monthly meetings starting the 2nd Saturday of January at 11am.. It is a pieced and fusible appliqué in wool. Cost:$ 0 per month includes all fabrics, wool & threads. Kathy will teach you how to free motion quilt on your home machine. We will talk about workspace, basting, & preparation, plus hands on. MACHINE ING CLASSES STENCILS & SUCH Thur March 12 10-1pm or 6-9p Cost: $20 Learn how to use stencils, enlarge or reduce them & how to fit them into borders & blocks. We will experiment with different marking systems to help get that quilt done. Can bring a quilt to discuss options, but will not be working on it. TRAPUNTO BY MACHINE Thurs Feb 5 10-1pm or 6-9pm Cost: $20/ stencil required Trapunto adds a third dimension to quilts. Learn to do this easy technique by machine. Create a block which can later be made into a pillow. Although we teach this process by machine, it can be done by hand also. LEARN HOW TO MAKE A QUIL T A Beginner Quilt Class NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY Always wanted to learn to quilt or just improve your skills? We will cover all aspects of a quilt; cutting, piecing, block sizing, borders, basting, quilting and binding. You will have a completed quilt when you graduate from this class. We have machines available on request. Must pay for class to reserve a spot. This is a popular class so sign up as soon as possible. Day class is on Mondays starting January 12 10-1pm for 10 weeks.
