Embedded Tactical Data Router The Exelis Embedded Tactical Data (ETDR) provides a vehicular based solution for Army Vehicle Installations where Size, Weight and Power (SWAP) allocations are a challenge. This is accomplished with integration of the Cisco 5915 Embedded Services Router (ESR) into an existing AM-7239E SINCGARS Vehicular Amplifier Adapters (VAA) Internet Controller (INC) housing located on the right side of the standard VAA. The modification retains all of the current features of the VAA mounted INC, while providing access to the five Ethernet ports and the RS-232 Console port of the Cisco Router. The Cisco 5915 ESR is utilized in a broad range of standalone Military and Industrial routers. Exelis has leveraged the SINCGARS experience and detailed knowledge to enhance the standard AM-7239E, by integrating the Cisco 5915 into the VAA enclosure, providing a fully compliant solution for the Vehicle Tactical Router (VTR) Applications. This solution requires no new real estate in VAA equipped vehicles, maximizes reuse of previous United States Government investments and can be easily installed via retrofit. The Cisco 5915 is specifically designed for mobile and vehicle networking applications and supports the standard Cisco IOS Software and Cisco Mobile Ready Net capabilities. The ETDR is a tactical router for use in the lower Tactical Internet (TI) to interconnect Company and below networks. It can be used in both Classified (Secret and Below) and Non- Classified Networks. The ETDR was succesfully deployed during the U.S. Army Network Integration Excercise (NIE) 14.1, within the Bradley Fighting Vehicles supporting both classified (SIPR) and unclassified (NIPR) networks. It can also be used in any tactical vehicle which currently hosts the AM-7239E and SINCGARS Radio System. Position Location Information (PLI) Receiver-Transmitter RT-1947A/U The PLI Receiver-Transmitter RT-1947A/U provides automatic broadcast and reception of Position Location Information (PLI) data utilizing the new SINCGARS Universal Net Situational Awareness (UNSA) mode incorporated as part of the SINCGARS Software Version 9 enhancement. This UNSA PLI capability is fully interoperable with RT- 1523E/F radios running Version 9. The RT-1947 is a non-cci device and therefore can be provided to first responders, dismounted Warfighters, and coalition forces not equipped or authorized to operate standard SINCGARS radios. It supports the reduction of fratricide by providing increased battle space visibility by accurately broadcasting PLI information of friendly forces. Additionally, this device can be easily installed on new or existing vehicular platforms. After being initially configured, the RT-1947A/U does not require operator interaction to perform the PLI beaconing function. The beaconing will be automatic based on time or distance traveled and is transparent to its users. It is interoperable with the SINCGARS PLI, thus providing a more complete blue picture of the battlefield or area of interest. The RT-1947A/U software based SA tool allows the user to set up and configure the RT-1947A/U, to view PLI information on a local area map. This is a valuable resource for first responders or stand-alone units not equipped with SINCGARS for voice communications. The RT-1947A/U also provides Radio Based Combat Identification (RBCI) functionality via Interrogator, Responder and Range Extension Relay (RE) capability. RBCI functionality provides PLI updates in two seconds (worst case). Addition of an optional range extension node (RE Relay) increases the response time to 5 seconds. SINCGARS Software Version 9 SINCGARS Software Version 9 is the latest version of SINCGARS software that improves performance and adds a new Universal Network Situational Awareness (UNSA) software capability. SINCGARS Software Version 9 is available for installation in all RT-1523E/F version equipment. Each radio acts as a beacon and sends Situational Awareness (SA) transmissions periodically based on time or distance traveled. This capability enables key leaders to track the location of all SINCGARS radios in a Brigade Combat Team (BCT) while the RT-1947 provides the same capability to Coalition Forces and First responders. SINCGARS SA is displayed on all JBC-P and SINCGARS Enhanced Control Display Unit (ECDU) equipped platforms. 9

Single ASIP Radio Mount (SARM) SARM is the latest SINCGARS vehicle installation mount developed specifically for RT-1523E/F radios. SARM solves the space and weight claim issues associated with traditional vehicle installation mounts. SARM operates on either 12V or 24V allowing easy installation of RT-1523E/F radios into any military or civilian vehicle. Built specifically to accommodate operations in the hostile battlespace environment, this four port Internet Protocol (IP) router is equipped with a fully functional IPv4 communications stack supporting both commercial LAN and PPP, as well as tactical Enhanced Position Location Reporting System (EPLRS) and SINCGARS interfaces. Multicast and unicast IP traffic is routed by the INC using Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) to determine how to route multicast while commercial Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) and tactical routing protocols are used to autogenerate unicast routing tables. Both static and dynamic routing capabilities are available. Access control lists provide input/ output controls on a per interface basis. INC configuration is MIB-based where most commercial Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) managers interoperate with INC SNMP agent to set parameters for all functionality. An autodiscovery process enables a factory default INC to discover where a host provided SNMP-based configuration is connected. Security features prevent unauthorized access and the entry of unrecognized data. Applications are available in the INC for SINCGARS and EPLRS radio control. Many special features have been added to the INC to support key Tactical Internet hosts such as the FBCB2, AFATDS, JCRS, FOS, JBC-P and MLRS DCOMMS. The autoconfiguration functionality allows the INC to automatically, with no host intervension, configure itself as a SINCGARS outstation, with radio based situational awareness (RBSA) and universal net situational awareness (UNSA) processing enabled. 12

C200 Series Antenna The C200 Series antenna is specifically designed for military applications where a rugged communication antenna is required. The high performance antenna is designed to meet the environmental and performance requirements of today s military radios. The C200 antenna series provides a omnidirectional radiation pattern with its peak at the horizon. The antenna is constructed of a high strength radiating element structure. The antenna is available in both vehicle and tripod versions. The vehicle version is mounted to a spring assembly designed to absorb shock and impact and then quickly return the antenna to its proper vertical position for operation. The tripod version is designed for deployment ground mobile or fixed site application. The antenna can be quickly be deployed from its storage configuration and has an integral threaded 3/4-10 base mount to an OE-254 mast.
