2 NAVITEC, ALWAYS THERE Not just anyone With over 14.000 sea going vessels calling every year, the Port of Antwerp is now the second most important harbour in Europe. Traffic is intense and time very limited. It is Navitec s mission to assist crew, owners, charterers and managers in maintaining operability of their vessels in the best possible way. In order to achieve this we employ highly skilled labourers and Ship Repair Managers with experience at sea and in ship building. We have the competencies to face any challenge thrown at us and this under the supervision of our Managing Director, Captain Joris Van de Water, an experienced Master Mariner and former Senior Technical Superintendent, aware of all the stakeholders involved. Ever growing, moving forward Founded in the late seventies as a welding shop, Navitec has come a long way since then. We currently employ around 60 people, run a fleet of over 30 vehicles and next to Antwerp we also frequently operate in Rotterdam, Gent, Zeebrugge, Flushing and Dunkerque. Occasionally work even takes us to Bremerhaven, Hamburg and Le Havre and once every so often we go even beyond that. We are proud to count almost all major shipping companies under our loyal customers. They help us stick to our focus and incite us to continuously improve our organisation and our services. QHSE Quality Navitec Marine Services is renowned among its customers for maintaining a high quality standard. We are able to sustain this service level thanks to permanent training of our staff and continuous investment in tools and materials. All of our welders are certified and so is the material they use. Upon delivery of work we also provide the relevant certificates for Class and Flag approval. In our workshop we can machine large objects as well as smaller precision parts. Our state of the art laser cutting table allows us to fabricate sheet metal parts of various thicknesses in record time. When the job is done, we invite clients to fill out a customer satisfaction survey so we can continuously assess ourselves and improve our services. Health As a ship repair company we ask a lot of our staff, working irregular hours in an extremely flexible system. As such, it is a basic necessity and in our greatest interest to take care of our workers health. Making sure they always have easy access to protective equipment, allowing for recovery time after labour and nonstandard shifts, providing comfortable and suitable lodging and meals when performing jobs on location Those are all integral parts of our QHSE policy, as is a regular physical health examination. Safety Working with welding machines, on or under water, between moving cargo, on altitude our work poses numerous potential hazards. To limit this risks safety is our number one priority, our staff s safety and the crew s safety. We are always equipped with suitable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), perform regular and Last Minute Risk Analysis when required and impose all necessary safety requirements and more. Our commitment to safety is proven by our recent VCA certification. Environment The Port of Antwerp is a leader in industrial environmental awareness and as a major contractor it comes naturally to us to follow suit and go beyond legal requirements. We take pride in cleaning up after ourselves and stick to a strict leave no trace policy. All our quotations are including waste disposal and all final disposal is taken care of by specialized and certified partners.

Navitec manages any technical challenge, always to the satisfaction of the customer. Our fully equipped and certified 5000m² workshop and highly trained mobile teams are geared up to carry out fast and economical repairs to ensure your operational security. We keep our own stock of steel plates, pipes and axles in different sizes and grades. Of course all accompanied by the proper material certificates for use in marine applications. Nativec is the ultimate one-stop shop for vessels sailing the ports of Antwerp, Ghent, Zeebrugge, Rotterdam or Flushing and beyond. If required we carry out labour even further abroad or on board sailing. CARGO SECURING Next to a long tradition in petroleum products and the ever rising container traffic, the Port of Antwerp, being the central logistics hub that it is, is also widely used for shipping nonstandard items. Given our nature of fast response times and delivering high quality hot works (cutting and welding) with flexible mobile teams, Navitec has gained extensive experience and skill in dealing with all kinds of standard (stoppers and D-rings) and not so standard cargo securing on sea-going vessels. Our welders are supported by our state-of-the-art workshop with a high-tech laser cutting table, capable of fabricating all sorts and sizes of stoppers on short notice. 10 CERTIFICATIONS Being a leading ship repair company with a strong focus on quality, we value the accreditation by multiple classification societies. Their recognition does not only offer you the ease of mind regarding the high standard of work, it also ensures class acceptance of our repairs. Workshop accreditations We have a fully equipped workshop of over 5000m² comprising of, amongst others, several lathes, turning lathes and a large plasma cutting table. Our workshop is certified by the following class societies: DNV-GL Bureau Veritas RINA Russian Register In fact, with regard to the latter, we are the only Russian Register certified workshop in the greater ARA area. Welding certificates Apart from the materials and tools, the person executing a job is the most important factor for a successful repair. Our people duly follow the set out welding procedures and are themselves certified for welding work. We have welders proficient and certified in regular steel welding, but also duplex, stainless steel and aluminium welding. Our welders and procedures are all certified by DNV-GL and Lloyd s Register. Safety Following our commitment to consistently improve safety we are proud to have been accredited with a VCA/SSC certification. VCA/SSC is intended to enable service companies to operate with greater safety awareness and reduce the number of accidents. It is a versatile and comprehensive programme for testing and certifying the SHE management systems of service companies.
