CR Development Group - Overview In 2004 CR Development Group (CRDG) makes its first investment in Costa Rica. CR Development Group (CRDG) acquires 140 acre parcel Coco Bay Estates. CRDG builds team, including the people and companies instrumental in the largest, most successful, luxury development today in Costa Rica called Peninsula Papagayo and Four Seasons Resort. CRDG established Advisory Board and current network ranging from top political figures in Costa Rica, business leaders and banking leaders. CRDG has completed due diligence, option agreements and acquisitions on multiple properties and resorts ranging from 1 acre concession parcels on the beach to multi-million dollar 5 star resorts. In 2010, CRDG brings to market a robust amenities business including: Beach Club, Tropical Luxury pools, 10,000 square foot Tennis & Fitness Club with a tennis program run by a US Pro. In 2010, CRDG signs Joint Venture agreement with Varde (leading $5B company) to add 300 acres to Coco Bay Estates.
CR Development Group People Jim Correll: Managing partner and founder of CRDG. He has been an active investor in real estate over the past 15 years in California, Arizona and Texas. During the past six years Jim has focused exclusively on development in Costa Rica, leading the acquisition of multi-million dollar land developments there. Jim is a graduate of the University of Nebraska and holds a double major in finance and marketing. Prior to moving to Costa Rica, Jim was a Senior Vice President for Harte-Hanks (NYSE:HHS), one of the world's largest targeted marketing companies and served on the board of directors for Q Interactive a Landmark company. Jim and his family live in Ocotal, Costa Rica. Julian Rembert: Managing partner and founder of CRDG. Julian has invested in real estate and real estate development for over a decade. He was the founder and owner of North State Appraisal and is an equity partner in two development companies. During the past six years Julian has led the acquisition of multi-million dollar land developments in Costa Rica, and established CRDG s footprint there. Julian is a graduate of Presbyterian College in South Carolina. He majored in Business and received both a full football and academic scholarship. Julian and his family live in Ocotal, Costa Rica. Jose R. Ortiz: is a native of Costa Rica and for the past 5 years heads Project Management for CR Development Group. Jose graduated from the University of Costa Rica in 1981 where he majored in Civil Engineering. He attended Purdue University earning his masters in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Construction Engineering and Management. Mr. Ortiz was the Director of Cost Control and Information Management for the Four Seasons Resort Project in Costa Rica. He and his family live Playa Ocotal, Costa Rica. Mauricio Urena: is a native of Costa Rica and for over five years serves as CRDG's operations manager. Prior to joining CRDG, He served as Manager for Banco Cuscatlan, now Citi. He has over a decade of experience helping businesses and customers with a wide range of financial products, and has worked directly with key international real estate investment clients. A graduate of the University of Costa Rica in Business Administration, Mauricio is certified in several English-language technology courses. He and his wife live in Liberia, Costa Rica.
CR Development Group Gina Correll: is responsible for Marketing and Investor Communications for CRDG. She has an extensive background with over 20 years in sales, target marketing, analytics and customer service. Gina has held vice president positions for large Fortune 500 companies such as Equifax, ADVO and Symphony Services. A graduate of Redlands University she majored in Business and minored in Spanish. Brandon Dall'Acqua: Serves as the financial manager and business analyst for CRDG. He is responsible for business analysis, strategy, data management and accounting. Previously Brandon served as an operations specialist with a Bank of New York subsidiary and as an international accountant for Boston Consulting Group. He is a graduate of Northeastern University, with a dual major in Finance and International Business Mike Schaefer: Mike has been in the real estate business for over 10 years. Mike was the branch manager of a family owned Mortgage office that did in excess of $500 million in loans annually. Mike moved to Costa Rica in 2007 and is working exclusively with CRDG. Mike is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a BA degree. Mike lives with his wife Kendy in Playas del Coco, Costa Rica. Tyler Correll: is a director of sales for CRDG. Tyler has over 16 years of client service, sales and sales management experience working for General Motors, The Walt Disney Company and Claritas. Tyler graduated from the University of Nebraska majoring in Business Administration. Tyler holds a California Real Estate Sales license that he used for personal investment management. Tyler brings a wealth of customer service and sales management expertise to CRDG. He and his family live in Playas Del Coco, Costa Rica. Karen Rembert: is responsible for The Club at Coco Bay and Event Management. Karen was the Tennis Director at North Hills Club in Raleigh, North Carolina for 13 years. During her tenure there, North Hills grew into one of the largest tennis clubs in the south and won the USTA facility of the year award. Karen is a recognized professional having teaching successes with all ages and at all levels. Karen graduated from Presbyterian College on a tennis scholarship with a Business Administration Degree, and went on to earn her Master's in Sport's Administration from East Carolina University.
