2 IDW is pleased to offer a range of opportunities for businesses to be able to gain professional brand profile and marketing exposure at International Dairy Week, Australia s premier dairy event, thereby engaging with their dairy client base. Now in its 27 th year of showcasing the Australian dairy cow, IDW has evolved into an expo of events held over the third week of January at the Tatura Park Exhibition Centre in Tatura, heart of dairy country in the Goulburn Valley region of Victoria. Our mission is to serve as a forum for dairy farmers, companies, organisations and individuals to come together to interact, compete and exchange ideas, knowledge, technology and commerce. IDW is the week to kick of your year, to do business, to engage, to be updated and to network all within a relaxed and easy to access venue in the heart of Australian dairy country. Held in Tatura at the Tatura Park Exhibition Centre, the venue is 167 kms north of Melbourne. IDW provides the platform for a number of dairy specific activities within the expo including: 6 National Breed Shows and a National Youth Show where over 1000 head of cattle are competing for recognition by Australian and International Judges and the chance to be Australia s Grand Champion Workshops and Seminars providing the latest information on a wide range of dairy related topics specifically aimed at improvements to commercial operations A field day event to service the needs of the commercial dairy farm and business with over 120 businesses on display Property and Progeny Tours Industry breakfasts, dinners and other networking opportunities Cattle Sales and the chance to secure elite dairy progeny 180 + breeders on site showcasing the best of their stud animals Music and entertainment for the kids and the chance to learn more about the Australian dairy industry A meeting place for 6000+ visitors In the months leading up to IDW media coverage of the event is extensive to generate interest across Australia. While there is a lot of self-generating interest in the event, IDW invests considerable time, effort and money to promote the event and guarantee saturation exposure. Marketing through social media, television, radio, electronic, print media and direct marketing through the Official Program guarantee a significant dairy audience every year. IDW s FaceBook has 3,000 likes. Additionally IDW is telecast globally and internationally via livestreaming with 13,000 users logged on to watch the 2015 event for longer than 20 minutes. This increases the global reach of IDW significantly. The promotional opportunities available for IDW 2016 are outlined on the following pages. 3 IDWlive Company Advertisements Limit: 10 places available IDWlive is a daily continuous broadcast of the Dairy Breed Cattle Shows using a production crew to record the action and detail of each event. This footage is then shown live on a 4.5 x 2.4 metre LED screen in the showring and also to the world via livestreaming. With 4G coverage livestreaming has been extremely successful. Some cattle exhibitors are also setting up television screens into their shed thereby hooking into the broadcast. IDWlive statistics for 2015 were: 13,550 individual viewers 106,440 hits on video stream 212,163 hits on IDW web page This is a fantastic opportunity to be one of only 10 companies to show a 30 second advertisement on IDWlive. Advertisements will be played daily Sunday to Thursday up to 16 times over the week. Grab a chance to market your brand to the growing Australian and global audience who log-on to see show action. You must supply us with the advertisement in a format suitable for showing on a 16.9 wide screen in a mp4 or mpg format. The advertisement must be with IDW prior to 1 January 2016. IDWlive Breeder/Stud Advertisements Limit: 6 places available This opportunity is provided to breeders who wish to market their stud and genetics during their breed show. Provide us with a 2 minute advertisement and this will be played on IDWlive during the particular show and will be played on other occasions during the week of IDW (eg before Sales, during lunch breaks etc). Grab a chance to market your enterprise to the Australian and global show enthusiast audience. You must supply us with the advertisement in a format suitable for showing on a 16.9 wide screen in a mp4 or mpg format. The advertisement must be with IDW prior to 1 January 2016. IDWlive IDW Website Banner Advertisements Limit: 4 places available This opportunity is available for companies who wish to advertise on the IDW website for the months December to February obviously including the Show Week. During IDW 2015 traffic to the site was enormous - 212,000 people visited the website in the Show week alone. Provide us with an appropriate web banner to be loaded onto the website from 1 December until 28 February. Advertise show specials and grab a chance to market your business to the Australian and global show enthusiast audience. IDW MoosPaper IDW MoosPaper is the event s official daily newspaper with 1000 copies produced at the conclusion of each day (Sunday through to Thursday) and is given free to visitors, exhibitors and competitors each morning. This is your chance to have your logo included in the newspaper and to provide a 200 word article/pictures/advertisement each day. IDW MoosPaper summarises each day s action, key highlights and quotes from notable attendees. It is a black and white publication on an A4 page (front and back).

4 IDW Ring Cleaners Blackmore & Leslie Pavilion Cost: Supply of 2 Volunteers per Show Limit: 1 or 7 places available subject to availability and interest This is your opportunity to provide people resources to work in the showring during the breed show to scrape and carry out cattle droppings and keep animals clean. You will be required to provide two volunteers who must work from the start of show day to the end. The two people can wear your company s T-Shirt/Hat to promote your brand. Volunteers must be over 15 years of age and must have had experience in moving around cattle. Volunteers need to be appropriately dressed (ie t-shirt, jeans and work boots). Your volunteers will be provided with shovels, wheelbarrows and paper. An IDW steward will be responsible for the volunteers whilst in the ring. Volunteers will be provided with water and lunch. A company may choose to take up this opportunity for a Show or for the entire four days of shows. Show Ring Fence Banner - Blackmore & Leslie Pavilion per Show Limit: 8 places available Be at the centre of all the excitement in the showring with a 1800 x 600 mm corflute sign hanging on the fence for the duration of the breed show. Choose to have your sign in place for one of 6 National Breed Shows. These signs are constantly in the background of photos and livestreaming footage. The sign will be in place for the duration of the Show/s chosen. The corflute sign needs to be with IDW by 1 January 2016. Ballantyne Centre Fence Banner Cost: $100 + GST Limit: 6 places available The Ballantyne Centre is the only place to dine in the evening during IDW as well as a place to have a formal type luncheon on Wednesday and Thursday. A bistro type meal is available together and a bar is operational. The Australian Open is also televised. Over 2,000 meals are served during the week. Your sign will be prominently displayed in the walkway leading to the bistro/dining area for the duration of IDW. You will need to provide your sign to IDW by 1 January 2016. Ideal size is 1800 x 600 mm and can be made of any material. Ballantyne Centre TV Banner Cost: $300 + GST The Ballantyne Centre is the only place to dine in the evening during IDW. A bistro type meal is available together and a bar is operational. The Australian Open is also televised. Over 2,000 meals are served during the week. You can display up to 4 signs within the Ballantyne Centre including alongside the screen which broadcasts the Australian Open Tennis for the duration of IDW. You will be required to provide the sign to IDW by 1 January 2016. Cattle Shed Naming Rights Cost: $300 + GST Limit: 5 sheds available 1 naming right per shed This opportunity includes naming rights for a shed which houses one of the main attractions at IDW the cattle. Each shed houses approximately 50 to 70 head from up to 20 Exhibitors. There are 5 sheds currently without naming sponsors. This opportunity provides you with a chance to have your company recognized on all maps and for you to

5 hang signage inside and where applicable outside the shed during IDW. IDW will arrange for the signage to be hung and removed. Signs will need to be with IDW by no later than 1 January 2016. Grassed Area Outside Wilson Hall Cost: $600 + GST There is a grassed area outside Wilson Hall which is turned into a village green for people to sit and relax. Shaded marquees and chairs/tables and a white picket fence turns the area into a convenient, outdoors but shaded spot for relaxing. This opportunity provides you with naming rights to this area, a chance to have your company signs or banners on display. You will need to provide your signs but the other equipment is provided. A great opportunity to take your customers to enjoy refreshments. Wilson Hall is the only on- site venue to provide breakfast and informal lunches a high traffic area. Brand DVDs for the Breed Shows Cost: $200 + GST per Show DVD Limit: 4 places available Your opportunity here is to place your company s logo and a brief message on the front and back covers of the official show DVDs. You may also choose to pre-record a welcome message of no longer than 1 minute at the start of the DVD. You will also be given 5 copies of each show to give to your valued customers/clients. The DVDs will be produced and ready in March. Please note that there is one DVD for Ayrshire & Illawarra Shows and one DVD for Guernsey & Brown Swiss Shows. The Jersey, Holstein and Youth Shows are each on a separate DVD. The Holstein Show also contains the judging/footage of Australia s Grand Champion. International Visitor Gift Cost: $100 + GST plus product IDW s international visitors register at the Office and receive an IDW lapel pin and visitor bag. As the International Visitor Sponsor you can provide product for 1 gift per international visitor. A great opportunity to promote your business to international visitors to IDW. Over the last two years an average of 200 internationals registered. Cattle Exhibitor Bag Insert Cost: $200 + GST plus product Limit: 4 places available IDW s Cattle Exhibitors collect their hat tags and are given an Exhibitor Bag. As an insert sponsor you will be entitled to have your promotional materials (product) inserted into each of the bags which will be handed out to every Cattle Exhibitor on site. Over the last two years an average of 200 breeders have exhibited coming from all States of Australia. Material needs to be with IDW by 1 January 2016.

6 Cattle Exhibitor Encouragement Awards Cost: $600 + GST plus product At the conclusion of each National Breed Show 6 in total - IDW present an Exhibitor Encouragement Award to a first time, up and coming or new exhibitor at IDW. This is your chance to sponsor these awards gaining the naming rights to the Award, present a plaque and cheque to each of the 6 winning Exhibitors and provide some of your product to the Exhibitor. Cattle Exhibitor Best Display Awards per Award plus product Limit: 2 places available At the conclusion of IDW two awards are presented for the Best Cattle Exhibitor Display. There are two categories 5 head and under and 6+ head. IDW provide judges who look at the visual presentation of the exhibitor s display area and team, signage, cleanliness, show team etc. Your sponsorship of this award will enable you to naming rights for the Award, the ability to present the winning prizes to the two Exhibitors and to provide product to the winning Exhibitors. Virtual Farm Tours Limit: 2 places available On the Monday and Tuesday evenings of IDW a virtual farm tour will be held in Wilson Hall at Tatura Park. Free to attend people can come and listen to a re-known dairy farmer talk about their commercial operation. Guests in previous years have included IDW Judges. Held from 8.00 pm to 9.00 pm it is your chance to sponsor the evening and provide nibbles and drinks to the audience. IDW will arrange the virtual farm tours and advertise the nights. You will be responsible for providing (via the Football Club), refreshments. You will also be able to introduce and MC the evening and hang any banners/signage you wish. A great way for you to entertain your clients who are at IDW for the week.
