EUROLINE ASSIC SOLID SURFACE Installation Instructions Before you begin, please note the following considerations: Safety First! Please use proper safety gear when performing any installation. Review all jobsite conditions for any compromises of safety and report all concerns to project superintendents. Verify that adequate blocking has been installed behind all walls for bracket attachments. Shop drawings provided will supply all compartment material type, hardware supplied, construction type, compartment widths, depths, ceiling heights, individual component sizes. You will need the shop drawings to determine centerline dimensions and drilling locations. Upon receipt of material and shake out, be certain that all items indicated on the hardware packing list and job list are included. B e sure to review Storage and Handling instructions enclosed for proper storage of this material. 12/01/15 1

Step 2 - Wall Brackets Using shop drawings provided, follow the height shown on elevation page of shop drawings, then using the wall brackets as a template, mark the hole locations for mounting. Make sure there is adequate backing (blocking) in walls to support the weight of the system. Drill holes and use plastic anchors with anchor screws to secure brackets to walls. Step 3 - Pedestal Location Determine the location of the pedestals from back wall by following the overall compartment depth and pilaster locations indicated on shop drawings. Remove pedestal base from main pedestal piece and place it on floor. Mark locations but DO NOT SECURE TO FLOOR AT THIS POINT. Make sure pedestals will not land on a drain or any exisiting critical floor condition. Step 4 - Panel Placement Place 6-1/2" support on the floor to position panels in desired location. Position panels in the wall brackets previously installed. DO NOT SECURE AT THIS POINT. Level and align panels at top and front edge with the center lines marked on floor. Place markings on panels for tee nuts and socket cap screws (thru-bolts). Drill panels to receive thru-bolts and affix panels to all three(3) wall brackets. Tighten all set screws and thru-bolts. Step 5 - Panel to Pilaster Bracket and Pedestal Installation Using the shop drawings provided, determine and mark the center line of "U" brackets on the inside face of pilaster where panels will be positioned. The height of the "U" bracket should match the height of the wall brackets shown on shop drawings provided. Use "U" brackets as a template to mark the location of the inserts and flat head screws. Drill pilot holes 3/8" deep using a 1/8" drill bit. Then use a 1/4" drill bit, 3/8" deep to finish holes for inserts. Press threaded inserts into drilled holes. You can use the flat head mounting screws to help you tap inserts into hole. Install U brackets on pilaster with flat head phillips machine screw provided. There should be Three(3) "U" brackets per Panel to Pilaster connections. Install pedestal to pilaster where indicated on shop drawings or by using the pedestal location guide on page 9 of these installation instructions. Use the T-nuts and set screws provided to attach the pedestals to each pilaster. EUROLINE PEDESTAL LOCATION GUIDE On 5" pilasters at wall connections, the center line of pedestal will be located 2" from finished wall. On intermediate pilasters 6" - 14" size, pedestals should be located in the middle of pilaster but not less than 3" from the edge of the pilaster where door is hinged. Step 6 - Pilaster Installation Commercial restroom floors are generally sloped towards floor drain. If this condition exists, begin installation with the pilaster that will be positioned at the highest point on floor. The height of this pilaster should be used as reference for the remainder of the pilasters to be installed. Move pilaster into position and align panel in "U" brackets already installed on pilaster. DO NOT DRILL FOR "U" BRACKETS ONTO PANELS AT THIS POINT. Check alignment of pedestal base locations on floor (previously marked in step 3) with pedestal mounted on pilaster (step 5). If necessary, make adjustments at this point. Use the pedestal leveling base to adjust the height of pilaster from finished floor making sure the top and bottom edge are aligned with panels. Pilaster has to be leveled and plumbed as well. Set 1/4" panel to pilaster gap and proceed to mark and drill thru-holes on panels for "U" brackets; but DO NOT SECURE AT THIS POINT. Remove pilaster from position and set mounting base of pedestal to the floor with provided anchors screws and plastic anchors. Reposition pilaster into place and fasten "U" brackets to panel with thru-bolts provided. Secure pedestals to mounting base by tightening both pieces using the appropriate allen key provided. Step 8 - Aluminum Angle Brace Installation Aluminum Angles are supplied in 120" length. Using shop drawings, determine lengths required and cut as needed. After all pilasters have been aligned and installed, proceed install aluminum angle brace (headrail). This will tie all pilasters and door infills together in place. Drill pilot holes for thru- bolt screws on pilasters using a 1/8" drill bit. Then, drill 5/16" hole for T-Nuts and 1/4" hole with countersink on aluminum headrail for the flat head socket cap screws. Use round base T-Nuts and flat head socket cap screws provided to attach aluminum angle brace (headrail) to pilasters (two per pilaster connection). Step 9 - Hinge Installation Pilasters have been pre-drilled to receive the hinge base. Each pilaster has been marked with corresponding room. Note that the distance from the edge of the pilaster to the centerline of the hinge base is about 2-11/16". This should help identify and confirm the correct location of the door. Remove the hinge base from the "U" shape hinge bracket piece by unscrewing the top cam screw holding the hinge base and hinge bracket as shown on these installation drawings. Using only the hinge base, remove the top and bottom small screws that came with it. Replace the top screw with a flat head socket cap screw (Ampco part# 612-92125A239) and the bottom socket set screw with the longer one provided (Ampco - part# 480-0803). Set and tighten both with T-Nuts provided (Ampco part# 483-SS T NUTSG). For self-positioning of the door, make sure cams are aligned before installing door. Assemble hinge and install door by thru-bolting in hinge bracket.
