DERBI Foundation STARTUP SUMMIT DERBI (Dayananda Sagar Entrepreneurship Research and Business Incubation) Foundation had organized a Startup Summit on 5 th March 2016 at DSI Innovation Campus, Hosur Road. The primary objective of the was to connect to the various players in the startup ecosystem. The theme of the summit was Startups : Reality or Hype?. The event was primarily for founders/ cofounders of startup companies. It had the participation of 30 startup companies.

Ltd Dr. Sridhar Mitta has nearly four decades of experience in Information Technology R&D and related businesses in India and the United States. He is currently the Founder and Managing Director of NextWealth Entrepreneurs Private Limited in India, whose vision is Social Uplift through Entrepreneurship. Dr. Mitta was a Founder and member of Board of Directors in e4e Inc., Santa Clara, CA based business Services Company. Dr. Mitta has been elected to the Board of Trustees of TiE Global and he served as President of TiE Bangalore.

Naganand Doraswamy President, TiE Bangalore He has held various technical and management roles in data networking, wireless and telecommunication industry. He is currently the CEO and Managing Director in IdeaSpring Capital. Presently he is also very active in the start-up ecosystem as an investor and a mentor.
