DIAMOND PULSE-TECH ADVANTAGES D I A M O N D P U L S E - T E C H YOU CAN WORK IN ANY ENVIRONMENT also in finished and furnished rooms because, by drilling in dry with dust extraction, no dirt, dust or mud around and you do not disperse water around. What is DIAMOND PULSE TECH? It is an innovative core drilling system which allows you to drill both dry and with water, in any building material. How does it work? The diamond core bit rotates and simultaneously performs an hammering action on the material to be drilled, this action is commonly called MICRO-PERCUSSION. What can I drill? You can drill any type of construction material including reinforced concrete, dry or, if you prefer, with water. What diameters can I drill in reinforced concrete? From a minimum of 42 mm to a maximum of 252 mm, depending on the machine model you choose. What length can I drill? The CARDI dry drilling core bits have a useful length of 320 mm and with an extension you can reach a depth of 620 mm. The CARDI wet drilling core bits have a useful length of 450 mm and with a 500 mm extension you can reach 950 mm. Can I also drill through steel bars? Of course, you can cut the reinforcement rods of important diameters without any problem, both dry and with water. Which diamond core bits should I use to drill with micro-percussion? Specific core bits for micro-percussion, both dry and with water. You can however use the wet core bits that you already have in stock or that you find on the market, but excluding the micropercussion action. In this case the machine works like a normal core drill machine. What about drilling time? With DIAMOND PULSE TECH you reduce drilling time compared to standard wet core drilling. What equipment do I need? The complete equipment includes: a DIAMOND PULSE-TECH core drill machine with micro-percussion; a suitable DIAMOND PULSE-TECH drill stand (if you don t want to work hand-held); a vacuum cleaner, when dry drilling; for dry drilling: specific diamond core bit, CARDI DPT series; for wet drilling: specific diamond core bit for micro-percussion and water. Should I always drill with the drill stand? To obtain the maximum performance it is always better to work with the drill stand. You can work hand-held for light and short-term drilling tasks. Why HYBRID? Because you can drill in different ways: - dry with micro-percussion - wet with micro-percusison - wet withou micro-percussion YOU SAVE TIME working dry you don t have to worry about bringing water to your drilling machine and, above all, you don t have to clean the area where you drill the hole. Your work is finished and clean! INCREASED PRODUCTIVITY drilling in dry the overall time required to complete the job is lower and therefore, during the day, you can make more holes. NEW DRILLING WORKS with dry drilling you can do more works that were avoided because of the water for wet drilling. HIGHER PROFITS all these advantages lead to more profit for your business. DRY DRILLING POSSIBILITIES: MICRO-PERCUSSION and dust extraction HYBRID DRILLING POSSIBILITIES: MICRO-PERCUSSION and dust extraction + classic wet drilling + MICRO-PERCUSSION wet drilling
