Our Story The Sidhu Group started in 2016 with the core belief that growing organizational and leadership capacity is one the most powerful ways to impact our world. We know from our experience that a clear sense of purpose with the right people can help empower your businesses success. Although strategic and leadership development is not a new concept we believe our growth strategies and over 100 years of leadership experience, will assure your business or non-profit organization will live out its purpose with greater impact in our communities. Giving back to our communities is a vital part of who we are as a group. Our team serves on non-profit boards and volunteer in many organizations in our communities. We also started a scholarship to help develop future leaders through our Servant Leadership Scholarship Award. This award is presented to students graduating from High School. Meet Our Team Bindu Sidhu, Founder Bindu Sidhu is best defined by these three words; constant, passionate and creative. With over 23 years of leadership experience he is sought for his expertise in organizational and leadership development. He excels in public speaking, executive coaching, leadership development and strategic planning. Bindu has a passion to help businesses grow their capacity to fulfill their mission and impact their clients. He has worked with large 20 million dollar businesses and large organizations to developed leaders from business owners and executives to board members, staff to volunteers. Bindu is a certified Executive Coach with a B.A in Theology, B.A Counseling, and is completing his Masters in Organizational Leadership.
Mark Washington, Affiliate Partner Mark Washington is a native of Washington, DC, but now lives in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. He is the Defensive Coordinator of the BC Lions Football Club. Mark played in the CFL (Canadian Football League) for 11 seasons and now is in his 10th season as a coach for the Lions. He is 3- time Grey Cup champion. Mark has extensive expertise in team building and team dynamics. He has travelled all over the world speaking and sharing his passion. Topics that Mark has spoken on over the years include: priority setting, obtaining and maintaining championship level performance, problem solving, interpersonal and organizational dynamics, character construction and the importance of competition. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Rutgers University.
Jonathan Michael, Affiliate Partner Jonathan Michael is a passionate communicator and teacher whose key areas of service are Leadership and Performance coaching, Team and Career Development. He has 20 years of experience coaching, mentoring and developing people from all walks of life from senior Microsoft staff to university administrators. He has worked in large multinationals, not-for-profits and small business environments. His education includes a B.A. in the liberal arts. He also graduated, Summa Cum Laude with a Masters Degree from Trinity Western University. He was awarded the Governor General s Gold Medal for academic achievement. He is also adjunct faculty at Trinity Western University. Jonathan is a Master Certified Birkman coach and independent consultant of Birkman International Inc., the world s premier psychometric assessment for leadership coaching and a multitude of career and relational applications. He has specialized training with BluePoint Leadership in communication, coaching and leadership practices, The Coaches Training Institute (CTI), CRG assessments systems, and FranklinCovey.
Kal Sidhu, FirstPage Marketing Kal has over 15 years of experience in account management & business development for the internet marketing, newspaper, direct mail, and radio industries. He enjoys being a part of the local business community, along the way meeting with clients and building relationships that are mutually beneficial. Kal comes into every situation with a personal approach and takes genuine care for the business' success. Kal has lived, worked and played in Abbotsford for over 30 years and truly loves being a part of the community. Kal is currently serving on the Board of Directors at The Abbotsford Community Foundation, Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce & Kinghaven Treatment Centre.
Sung San Oh, Investors Group Sung is a Consultant at Investors Group. He has helped numerous professional individuals and business owners to build and manage their wealth. He specializes in strategic charitable giving, estate planning, and retirement planning. He is passionate on giving back to communities and support existing organizations. His mission is to increase financial literacy within non-profit organizations by mentoring, educating and sharing his knowledge in charitable giving strategies. Outside of the office, Sung is an opera singer. Sung holds a Bachelor of Music from University of British Columbia in Opera Performance. His education and experience in the classical music helped him understand the importance of financial support for many non-profit organizations. Sung continually involves himself with many charity events to positively impact the communities. He sees great value in his knowledge and experience to help non-profit organizations grow even more. Bill Bunting, Affiliate Partner Bill's career began as a realtor in which he received the prestigious Re/Max Hall of Fame Award before transitioning into the training business. He held the position of Managing Partner of the Dale Carnegie Business Group in B.C, which was rated by Business in Vancouver as the 5th biggest sales and management training organizations in British Columbia. He has been a coach and sales leader for over 20 years. Bill became an International Award Winner and was a member of the faculty of instruction for Dale Carnegie. He coaches in areas of leadership, sales, public speaking, management and effective communications. Bill has coached thousands of people to overcome the challenges of being an effective leader in their personal life, as well as their business and has received accolades in that regard across the province. Bill joined The John Maxwell Team in 2015.
