About the Big Darby Accord Ten jurisdictions in the Big Darby Watershed within Franklin County have cooperatively developed a multijurisdictional plan to preserve and protect the Big Darby Creek and its tributaries. The Plan includes preservation and growth strategies, is capable of implementation and provides mechanisms for monitoring and oversight. Rickenbacker Green Logistics and Energy Collaborative A concept which is being explored to: help reduce the carbon footprint of the logistics industry help existing companies conserve energy generate and utilize sources of green power in order to assist the private sector in reducing their operating costs help address air quality issues which could potentially limit future growth serve as a platform for establishing a by-products synergy network among private sector companies to define and utilize each other s waste streams help market the Rickenbacker Global Logistics Campus as a cutting edge, 21 st century, international logistics operation which a specific focus of reducing the industries carbon footprint allow a collaborative approach among private sector companies to use their collective buying power to help reduce costs of energy saving or generating systems utilize the concept of a Solar Special Improvement District to promote the use of solar panels on warehouse buildings in order to generate electricity for forklifts and lighting needs develop compressed natural gas technology to power drayage vehicles
