the company REPI was founded in 1973 as a result of the insight and inspiration of the founder and his family to develop and produce colours and additives in liquid form for plastics. Research, experimentation and dedication together with a forward-looking vision enabled the company to become one of the world leaders in the industry. Today REPI is a global supplier, with its own facilities in Italy, the United States, UK and Russia. Local partners cover the five continents with a comprehensive network of sales and service. REPI strength lies not only in a variety of product ranges, which fully cater to the needs of diverse industries and applications, but also in its continuous research into new materials. This is possible due to the extensive know-how and process expertise of the technical team in dealing with special requests, from its on-going training on dosing equipment and products to the assistance and support provided by the sales and marketing departments. 5

HIStORy SINCE 1973. INNOVATION, quality AND RELIAbILITY 1973 Establishment of REPI in gorla Maggiore, Italy. 1976 Development of colour pastes for aromatic and aliphatic polyurethane systems. 1980 Start of production of liquid colours for thermoplastics. 1987 Start of solid masterbatch production for the colouring of expanded PE foam. REPI enters the PET packaging market starting in North Europe and in Russia. Company headquarters and production move to Lonate Ceppino (North-west of Italy). A second automated mixing station for basic colours is set up in bangkok, Thailand. 1997 2003 2011 1998 1999 Establishment of REPI LLC in Charlotte, North Carolina (USA). 2005 Opening of REPI office in Moscow, Russia to follow the PET/ thermoplastics market. 2010 Disinvestment and sale of the solid masterbatch division. Focus on liquid solutions. Set-up of an advanced Technological Lab at REPI headquarters. Establishment of OOO REPI in Moscow. 2012 Move of REPI LLC to a bigger plant in gastonia (North Carolina) with a brand new production facility. 2013 Expansion of the R&D Labs at REPI headquarters with the construction of a dedicated building. 2014 Establishment of REPI Uk in Liverpool, to improve REPI presence in the Uk and Ireland. 2016 Start of manufacturing at REPI Uk in Liverpool. 8 9

business unit thermoplastics Experience, technology and service: this is the basis of REPI approach to its product lines for thermoplastic materials. REPI technology consists in high performance liquid pigment and additive dispersions, formulated for application in injection moulding and extrusion of a wide range of final products, dosed by means of REPI own dosing units. The low viscosity liquids allow excellent pigment dispersion, resulting in an optimal uniformity of colouration. business unit polyurethanes REPI offers high performance pigment and carbon black dispersions and additives specifically formulated for flexible foams, integral foams and elastomers, which find application in a wide range of industries. REPI products are suitable for use both in polyether and polyester PU systems. The low viscosity liquids perform particularly well with high temperatures and give excellent pigment dispersion and colouration uniformity. REPI vast experience in this sector, the excellent quality of its products and its continuous research into innovative technical solutions, make it the ideal partner for the polyurethane industry. 12 13

TECHNICAL SERVICE The REPI Technical Service Team provides support worldwide through direct presence on-site and remote consulting, to help customers with new product start up, trials, training, trouble shooting and process improvement. 17
Technological lab and prototyping The implementation of a Technological Lab dedicated to the packaging industry represents an important investment for REPI, enabling the prototyping and pre-industrialization of its colours and additives for the final products (preforms, bottles, recycled PET packaging). REPI technological lab is equipped with a single stage ISBM machine (Automa), an Arburg injection moulding machine, a Sidel blowing system and a Piovan drying system for PET. 19
TRAINING AND WORKSHOPs Every year REPI organises training sessions and workshops at its headquarters or on-site, bringing together technology partners and REPI technicians to discuss innovations, technologies, new colour solutions and equipment, as well as to share problem solving and continuous improvements. 21
Quality REPI is ISO certified since 1998. The Quality System is currently certified according to UNI EN ISO 9001:2008. REPI is committed to supplying high quality products and services for the colouring of plastics.
