Moving up to a higher distance is not allowed. No change in distance is permitted once started. 4. All ages (horse and rider) are deemed to change as of January 1st as per the National rules. 5. Km will count for cumulative distance rosettes only up to the vetting before the vet gate where the horse was vetted out e.g. 160km ride horse passes vet at 80km but fails at 120km therefore only 80km will count for your cumulative distance rosette but nothing for any trophies. 6. As of January2013, all members, both full and associate, will in order to be eligible for Durham & Teesside Group Trophies and Accumulative Distance Rosettes be required to volunteer to help at a ride at least once in a season. Ride Organisers who are actively riding themselves during a season and are therefore unable to participate in a ride due to them organising the ride, and being required to be at the venue for the duration of the ride, will be allowed to claim a distance for that ride which they run. THIS WILL BE CAPPED AT 40k and applies to both Pleasure Rides AND Competitive Rides. Where a choice of distance is offered, the Ride Organiser will be allowed to claim the highest distance offered, (MAXIMUM 40k), but not all distances.
