6 STEPS TO RECLAIM YOUR LIFE
First of all, I am going to challenge you to get out of your head and fall into your heart. If you are not willing to do that, then I would not recommend reading any further. Please answer these questions honestly. 1) Do you know what your ideal day entails? Who it s spent with, where you are, what you do, what you don t do? Or are you just being pulled towards whatever task is screaming the loudest? 2) Do you feel like you are in this constant cycle of barely managing your tasks at hand and feel like you are getting more and more behind with less and less energy? Now remember, be honest. 3) Is your heart yearning for something else? Is this truly what you were put here to do or do you feel that there is more to life? 4) If you are feeling like yes, please help, I need to fulfil my needs at a core level and I am ready for a change then read on.
I believe I have found the answer to reclaim your life. However, before I give you the solution I have found, I want to tell you about my life three years ago. My name is Nicholas Fairbairn and whilst I have had an incredible life filled with many adventures, about 3 years ago I hit an all time low. This was surprising to me, as about 3 years before that I believed I had hit my lowest of lows when I had gotten glandular fever and pneumonia. That s a whole other story but in short it led me on a transformational path of education and reclaiming my health, however, not my life. Then 3 years ago it hit me and it hit me hard, yeah I have my health back and I am in touch with my true self however, I was not in control of my life and I was not living the way I truly wanted. This is when doterra Essential Oils came into my life. Now, as much as I love the oils what excited me more was the business opportunity. I have always done well in business and created or managed very successful businesses for other people. I also had my own small business which I enjoyed but I was still exchanging time for money. As soon as I stepped away from the business to take some time out for myself or went on a holiday, the business came with me and the doors were shut. But now with doterra, I was learning about a financial pipeline. If I committed part time, 10 to 15 hours per week, within 2-4 years I could have a very stable and secure passive income that would either supplement or replace my full-time income. Better yet, if I committed full time, the world would be my oyster and complete financial abundance would occur.
Now I am going to introduce, my guide to reclaiming your life. From the moment I learnt about a financial pipeline, I created many mistakes and sabotaged myself in many areas. I am hoping, with this guide, it will stop you from doing the same.
Feel in your heart. I spoke about this at the very beginning and I believe it truly is the first step. To feel, is what I am doing right for me? Notice I said the word me? You may be doing what you think is right for your kids, partner and family. Here is the tip: If something is not right for you, it is not right for your loved ones and they 1can feel your unhappiness.
Educate yourself. There is more opportunity on the planet right now than there has ever been. It really used to do my head in that people did not think that way, however, it s because we were programmed to miss opportunities. What I mean by this is, the majority of our society is programmed to believe network marketing is not a safe, reliable and stable opportunity. I 2am not going to try and convince you, I am just letting you know that when you educate yourself you can make educated decisions. Here are some questions I would ask myself when looking at opportunities. Is it something I believe in? Is it in my core values? When times get challenging, do you believe in the opportunity or will you drop it as soon as the first obstacle comes up? Is it something that is needed? - Would society benefit from this right now? Is there a market for it? Is it product focused? - Is the product quality or is the focus on making money? If it s the latter it s a big NO from me. Who is involved? - Are the type of people involved people you respect? Do they have integrity? Are they the type of people, leaders, owners you want to be involved with?
3 Make a commitment Too often these days people make a commitment then within a month, six months a year later they give up. We have all done this and to be honest, most of the time we give up just before we are about to have an incredible life changing moment that will fill ourselves with so much joy and happiness. So why do we give up? Many reasons here are the main ones. Impatience - It s taking too long. Any successful business takes time. With a network marketing business you are creating a financial pipeline instead of hauling buckets. Success will come as long as you do not let impatience spoil it. Judgement - Friends and family, yourself. Do not let uneducated people give you advice especially the ones who tried and failed or gave up on their dreams before they even started. They will never say that they failed because of anything they will not take responsibility for that Sabotage - Somewhere deep inside, thinking things are too good better sabotage now so I can stay in control of my happiness. Blame - Blaming the products, support company because it is too hard to own the responsibility that there is no one to blame but you for your lack of success. Not trusting the process - To me, this comes down to education. When you truly educate yourself on network marketing, compensation plans and successful people, it really is a nobrainer that network marketing is a better way. Lack of support - Now this is a big one. First of all, there is an abundance of support available in business these days and even more in network marketing, as really what is happening is people are invested in your greatness. What I see though, is people have a lot of trouble asking for support when they need it. I used to be like this. I have now become a lot wiser.
Do not compare yourself Comparison is the thief of your joy. If you, in your heart, have patience and are committed, who cares what everyone else s journey is. Do not compare yourself to people who are building faster, making more money, more popular, or whatever other stories you make up to look down on yourself. You never know what is happening in their life, what they have gone through to be where they are or even if they truly are 4happy. It could all be a show.
Have Integrity When building your business, you will have many opportunities to do the wrong thing. When I say wrong I mean wrong in your heart and for your values. People will always judge you with what you should and should not do but trust your internal radar. You will be given many opportunities for quick bucks and shortcuts. Most of the time no one but you would ever know if you took up this opportunity. I truly believe that the minute you step outside your integrity the universe will give you a big ass whooping. People think if they do not get caught they will get away with it. This is not the case. It may be years later or something that is not even related but karma will get you in this lifetime. So keep yourself check and if you are in doubt, chat to mentors and ones you trust that have your best 6interests at heart, then you make the decision on which path to take.
Stay the course Yes you will fumble, you will make mistakes, big mistakes! But guess what? If you stay the course you improve, your knowledge base grows, your systems develop, things start to flow. This is in all areas of your life, not just your business. I see so many people just give up on life when challenges arise. They have made the commitment but are not willing to take that final step of receiving all they desire. It is like they are on the cliff of success where if they take the leap of faith everything they ever hoped and dreamed for is waiting. The issue is the parachute doesn t open straight away and you will get battered and bruised before you fly. Do you take the leap or do you stay where it s safe? If you stay where it s safe, you will never feel hurt, never feel discomfort, never feel despair, never feel life. The choice is yours. The world has been waiting for your gifts. No one in the history of the universe has ever had your gifts or ever will. You are wanted. You are needed and the time is now.
I invite you to rise up on this incredible journey with me. It s not going to be all rainbows and unicorns. It s going to be tough, the most challenging thing in your life but bloody hell it feels good to be alive. When you get to reflect back on all those challenging moments, you get this deep appreciation that they are what defined your character and supported you to stretch further than you ever have before. You will receive more and more moments of inner joy that the majority of people will never know and all because your followed your dreams.
