Page 1: My Pomeranian Casper. He was with us 16 years and is still missed. Dale gives me the look while getting his bath, not one of his favorite activities. Page 2: A car in the driveway and a horse in the front yard. Champ patiently awaits for his rider. Laura meets a new friend when we were visiting Asheville, NC. Page 3: An airplane with a view at the Martinsville, VA airport. The forest is not on fire, just a spectacular sunset in Evington, VA. Page 4: A view from the Omni Groove Park Inn in Asheville, NC. Appomattox River bridge in Appomattox County, VA. This is an older digital photo from 2002. Page 5: Snow scene in my back yard in Evington, VA. Clouds form what appears to be a sinister face. What do you see in that Photo? Page 6: A basket of tomatoes taken with a wide angle lens. Ice on the trees forms an interesting pattern and shines in the sun. Page 7: Tulip Magnolias buds alongside dead leaves and a dead blossom from last year. Crocus blooms refuse to surrender to the ice around them and continue to push for spring. Page 8: A butterfly on my butterfly bush. A macro photo using a 70-200mm lens. Reflections are a favorite of mine. What do you see here? It s an interesting view. Page 9: A white iris with raindrops from the garden at my home. A fully open iris from the garden at my home. Page 10: Pink azalea blooms in early spring in Evington, VA. A Porsche on the track with the driver and passenger visible through the windshield. Page 18: My first photo to be published internationally. It is in a 2018 calendar printed in Europe. From my action camera, already at 85MPH (see bottom), and accelerating. Back Cover: Is it a sunrise or sunset? It depends on your state of mind, positive or negative. Visit my website at: www.poetsvisions.com

The camera I use for my photography is a Canon 70D. It is also used for some video. A Garmin VIRB action camera is my in-car choice. Adobe Creative Cloud software is used to process photos and video taken with the Canon DSLR camera. Garmin has software to edit the action camera video which adds car speed, RPM, etc. to the edited video. When I am not at the computers, I have the 1974 Harley-Davidson project (below left) to give me time to relax working on vehicles. I am the volunteer photographer for the Lynchburg Museum System and have several functions with the Blue Ridge Region, Porsche Club of America. My goal in retirement is to have fun and stay busy.
