Working closely with the customer creates the optimum solution. We use the latest engineering design tools to help customers convert product ideas into reality. Using 3D-CAD/CAE methods considerably shortens both development times and ramp-up periods. The sooner prototypes can be generated, the quicker possible design shortcomings can be addressed. Using trial tooling and a range of rapid prototyping methods such as stereo-lithography and laser sintering, we can prepare both visual and even functional prototypes. Short, rapid communication links enable us to do this smoothly and efficiently. At SFS intec, new parts can be subjected to a range of physical tests in our in-house laboratory in order to check their characteristics. The results are put into the development plan, enabling the required functions to be achieved. The best possible tool design and precise tool manufacture are prerequisites for achieving perfect plastic components. We design the necessary injection moulds using 3D-CAD systems. Thanks to integrated CAD / CAM programs, the data can also be used as the basis for programming machine tools. Modern automated production equipment and the complete control of every process are at the centre of our production capabilities. Concepts such as process-integrated automation make for tremendous economies in manufacture and assembly. By integrating plastic injection moulding machines with automatic assembly lines, non-value-added processes are eliminated.

Our know-how in precision multi-cavity injection moulding enables tight production tolerances to be maintained for parts with weights of less than 0,02 g. Thanks to state-of-the-art tooling and manufacturing processes, even geometrically complex parts can be achieved.
