1-Isaac Winn 1 was born in 1817 in England, died on 1 May 1884 at age 67, and was buried in Mineral Point, Iowa, Wisconsin (Old Mineral Point Cemetery ). General Notes: Isaac died May 1, 1884. According to his obituary, Isaac had been in Mineral Point about 41 years. On Dec 14, 1851 he married his second wife, the widow Jane [Treloar] Thomas. They had three children; Bennett, Sarah, and Charles. Isaac was a blacksmith. Jane died Sep 11, 1892. Charles married Clara Belle Whitford, daughter of Thomas Whitford and Sarah Jane Matthews, on 26 May 1891 in Mineral Point, Iowa, Wisconsin. 32 Clara was born in 1870 in Waldwick, Iowa, Wiscosin, died on 20 Nov 1941 at age 71, and was buried in Mineral Point, Iowa, Wisconsin (Graceland Cemetery). 33 They had four children: Charles Leroy, Grace Jane, Robert Thomas, and Edgar Homer. Obituary Mrs. Charles Winn MINERAL POINT - Mrs. Charles Winn, 71, lifelong resident of Mineral Point, died suddenly Thanksgiving day at her horne here. She had observed their 50th wedding anniversary with her husband May 29. A member of the Congregational church, end past president of the church's Co-Workerg, Mrs. Winn is survived by her widower; three sons, C. L., Mineral Point; Robert, Elgin, Ill,, and the Rev, Edgar, Marseilles, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Gordon Shepard, Mineral Point; a brother, Morris Whitford, Elgin, Ill., and a sister, Mrs. Charles Treweek, Mineral Point. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Congregational church. The Rev. Earl Remaly will officiate, and burial will be in the Graceland cemetery.
