How To Install the Bounce Back Horse Fence Including Tool Preparation The information provided is suggested only. It is up to the individual to ensure they use the correct fencing method suitable for their situation. Acacia Products will not assume responsibility for design choice by the installer. If unsure it is recommended that the owner of the property seek further advice through an approved Fencing Contractor. 02 9756 6077 bounceback@acaciaproducts.com.au fencing4horses.com.au

List of Tools To begin you will need to gather the following tools: Tape measure Marking Pen Square Pliers Snips Wire Strainer Stage 1 Prepare Bounce Back Horse Fence rail to be strained 1 Take a pair of tin snips and cut the plastic webbing along the inside of both wires as shown. The panel should be cut to correspond with the thickness of the straining post with the addition of 150mm (15cm). Eg. 300mm straining post is 300mm + 150mm = 450mm.

2 Using a knife or scoring tool, score panel between the wires. Bend plastic away from wires and remove flap fully. 3 Remove plastic sheath from around the wire. This can be done by using a pair of pincers or pliers. By twisting the plastic over the wires this will allow for easier removal. Be sure to score the plastic before twisting.

Your Bounce Back Horse Fence is now ready for straining Stage 2 Straining of your Bounce Back Horse Fence 1 Bounce Back Horse Fence must be strained from the ends of each run, at gates, corner posts and changes of direction. At these points a heavier straining post is needed to hold the force of the strain. Ensure stay are designed into the system on the strainer posts. Through each strainer post drill 2 off x 12mm holes, spaced 120mm apart for each panel of Bounce Back Horse Fence to be strained (i.e. for a 3 rail fence drill 6 holes). Holes must be drilled from the wire entry side of the post outwards. 2 Insert the exposed wires at the prepared end of the Bounce Back Horse Fence through the holes drilled in the straining post. Slide a wire vice fitting over each wire and locate in the back of the strainer post.

3 Place Bounce Back Horse Fence straining tool around the fence vice. Insert the exposed wire into the jaws of the straining tool as displayed. 5 Ensure Bounce Back Horse Fence runs in a straight line between straining posts. Use a string line and mark intermediate posts, if necessary. For best results all intermediate posts should be spaced evenly 2.5-4.0m apart. 6 Bounce Back Horse Fence flexible fencing brackets are designed to allow lateral movement of the panel. Use tek screws to attach intermediate part brackets over the fence onto the intermediate posts. 4 Tension the wires by exerting a lever action upon the straining tool. Repeat the process for each vice. This will tension the wires and cause the vice to clamp over the wire.

Joining lengths of Bounce Back Horse Fence Coils of Bounce Back Horse Fence and other offcuts may be joined using double vice wire joiners. Using the methods shown in steps 1 to 3, prepare both wires on each of the two panels to be joined. Strip wires to a length of approximately 25mm each. Do not remove the centre panel, as this overlap is required to conceal the join. Small sections of roll may be joined using the wire joiners. In this case use a square to ensure that both ends to be joined are cut at right angles to the rail and that each wire of each rail is of identical length.
