To obtain instructions for extending a shed that has been previously assembled, contact our Customer Service Department. If you have not yet assembled your shed, use the instructions on the following pages. To add Doors to a previously assembled shed, Call Customer Service for Instructions: 1 (800) 225-3865

Adding Additional Doors During Shed Assembly This Kit will allow you to add an extra set of doors at the rear end of your 11 shed. 1. Check contents of boxes and compare to parts listed on the Parts List. 2. Follow instructions that came with your shed, but when you come to the following sections of your Owner s Manual follow the instructions listed below. Assemble Back Wall Instead of installing the two (center) back wall panels, leave a gap and continue with the Assemble Next Corner step (for the rear left corner). Assemble Next Corner (for rear left corner of shed) Leaving a gap along the back wall as instructed above continue the shed assembly with the back left corner of the shed. Follow steps and Assembly Tips as written in the Owner s Manual. Installing Corner Channels AI 1 Assembly Tip #2 1. Loosely insert top two screws. 2. Insert bottom two screws (tighten completely). 3. Insert remaining screws (tighten). 4. Tighten top screws. 3 4 2 The top of the channel is the end with the holes closest to the end.

Left Door Assembly AB Hardware from the Shed MC (2) (9) (2) MP (3) CA (2) Holes for handle Screwdriver ML (3) (Not Actual Size) Hardware Bags: 1025620, 1012086 Screwdriver 7/16 Wrench a Rest Left Door (AB) with front side down. Position Deadbolt Latches (CA) in slots at top and bottom of door then slide Door End Channel (AG) onto the door. CA AG TOP AB Back of Door The Door End Channel fits onto door with the flat side up (facing the Deadbolt Latches). CA BOTTOM b Attach three Door Braces () to the back of the door with 1/4 x 5/8 Screws (). c a. Slip the Strike Plate (CL) over the Left Door and align the holes. b. Attach the Left Door Latch (CH) to the Strike Plate with two (2) Carriage Bolts (MC) and two (2) Cap Nuts (). c. Attach the Left Door Handle (BC) using three (3) Washers (MP) and three (3) Screws (ML). CH MC MP ML BC CL You may need to nudge the Door End Channel to make these holes line up with the gap in the door. ML MP ML

Right Door Assembly a Rest Right Shed Door (AA) with front side down, then slide Door End Channel (AG) onto the door. Hardware from the Shed (9) Screwdriver AG AA AA Holes for handle Back of Door b Attach three Door Braces () to the back of the door with 1/4 x 5/8 screws ().

MD (2) MN (2) ML (3) 1. MP (3) MF (2) MG (2) (Not Actual Size) c Hardware Bags: 1012086 Screwdriver 7/16 Wrench Fit Thumb Lever Knobs into Handle Grooves. Groove 2. Rotate the Thumb Lever into the handle. Slide forward until the Knobs fit into the holes in the handle. MH (1) 3. ML MP CC Knob CC ML MP BB CC Knobs snap into Holes BB Attach the Handle and Thumb lever to the Door. BB d Attach Door Mechanism Spring (MH) to handle assembly. Set the door aside. e Attach Door Mechanism Spring (MH) to handle assembly. Set the door aside. MF CB CF MG MN MH MD CF CB CG Tighten All Hardware Use pliers to pull spring down and hook into bottom hole.

Assemble & Install Wall Support Channels Use the Wall Support Channels, Extension Channels and hardware from your Shed and follow the instructions below for the rear of the Shed. Build Two Supports: a Attach a Short Vertical Extension Channel (AJ) to a Wall Support Channel (AA). Be sure that the Extension Channel is installed in the correct direction. Repeat. Hardware from the Shed (16) FB (4) (4) Screwdriver, 7/16 Wrenches (2) AJ Use these holes to Attach the Wall Support Channel AJ FB AA b Install the Wall Supports with Extension Channels on the Rear Wall at the locations shown. Do not completely tighten the screws until after the Rear Gable is installed. 1 2 3 1 2 3 Use the holes in column #3 Use the holes in column #1 AJ

Install Front Gable After installing your front Gable as per the Owner s Manual, use the Gable and hardware from your Shed and follow the step below to install the Gable at the rear of the shed. a Set a Gable on the top of the Rear Hardware Wall and Bags: screw 1000427 into place. Also screw the Vertical Extension Channels (AJ) into the Gable. Hardware from the Shed (10) Screwdriver Tighten the Screws on the Wall Supports after the Gable is installed. Install Door Frame & Doors After installing the Door Frames and Doors at the front of the shed (as per the Owner s Manual) use the Parts and Hardware from this kit and follow the steps below to install the Doors and Door Frames at the rear of the shed. a Insert Carriage Bolt (MA) into Door Frame Floor Bracket (CD) and the bottom of the Left Door Hinge (AJ). Place a Cap Nut () loosely on the end of the Carriage Bolt. Repeat for the Right Door Hinge (AH). MA (2) Hardware Bags: 1012086 7/16 Wrench (2) AJ MA AH MA WARNING Do not overtighten the Cap Nut. If the end of the Bolt breaks through the plastic cap, call our Customer Service Department at the number on Page One. Exposed threads on the end of the Bolt may cause serious injuries. CD CD

Assembly Tip #7 Identify Left and Right Door Hinges Each hinge has two components. A wider Wall channel that fits over the wall, and a thinner Door Channel that holds the Door. When installed correctly the Door Channel hinge will be above the Wall Channel hinge. WARNING Do not overtighten the Cap Nut. If the end of the Bolt breaks through the plastic cap, call our Customer Service Department at the number on Page One. Exposed threads on the end of the Bolt may cause serious injuries. b Push a Carriage Bolt (MA) through the hole in the top of the hinge and loosely place a 1/4 Cap Nut () on the bolt. Put the Left Door Hinge (AJ) into position. Repeat for the Right Door Hinge (AH). Left Door Hinge MA (2) (2) Hardware Bags: 1012086 7/16 Wrench Right Door Hinge AJ MA MA AH c While one person holds the Door Header Channel (AK) in place, remove the Cap Nut () and slide the Door Header Channel (AF) over the bolt. Replace and tighten the Cap Nut (). Remove the Cap Nut () and slide the Door Header Channel (AF) over the Carriage Bolt (MA). Replace and tighten the Cap Nut (). Screw the Door Header Channel to the Gable. MA AF AF MA 10

d Screw the Door Frame Floor Brackets (at the bottom of each hinge) to the floor. Insert the remaining screws into the Door Hinges. MK (1) MM (2) MB (1) Hardware Bags: 1012086 Screwdriver, 7/16 Wrench CD Hardware from the Shed CD (14) Screwdriver WARNING Do not overtighten the Cap Nut. If the end of the Bolt breaks through the plastic cap, call our Customer Service Department at the number on Page One. Exposed threads on the end of the Bolt may cause serious injuries. e Install a Gable Truss Brace (BD) between the front truss and the Gable. Screw the Gable Truss Brace (BD) into the Door Header Channel. BD MM There are no pilot holes in the Gable to receive the screws (MM). Insert them directly into the plastic. MK MB 11

Failure to do so may result in electrical shock or other serious injury or death. f Lift and slide Left Door onto Hinge. (2) MC (2) MN (2) Hardware Bags: 1012086 Screwdriver, 7/16 Wrench g Secure with a 1/4 x 1 1/2 Bolt (MC), 1/4 Washers (MN) and 1/4 Cap Nuts (). MN MC Put Washers (MN) and Cap Nuts () on Bolts (MC). WARNING Do not overtighten the Cap Nut. If the end of the Bolt breaks through the plastic cap, call our Customer Service Department at the number on Page One. Exposed threads on the end of the Bolt may cause serious injuries. 12

MM (2) (2) MC (2) Hardware Bags: 1012086 MN (2) Screwdriver, 7/16 Wrench h Lift and slide Right Door onto Hinge and secure with a 1/4 x 1 1/2 Bolt (MC), 1/4 Washers (MN) and 1/4 Cap Nuts (). MC MN Put Washers (MN) and Cap Nuts () on Bolts (MC). There may be uneven spacing between and around the doors at this stage of assembly. This is normally resolved as you complete the remaining assembly steps. If, after assembly, the spacing is still uneven, see the Adjust Door Spacing step at the end of this manual. Assembly Tip #8 Use this tip if the shed doors will not close or latch completely: 1. Open the door that won t close. 2. Apply downward pressure on the door (next to the hinge) by either hanging on the door or tapping with a rubber mallet (place a piece of wood between the mallet and the door to avoid damage to the door). Door Hinge Alignment i Screw the Deadbolt Strike Plate (CJ) into place in the doorway with #10 x 1/2 Screws (MM). MM CJ 13

NOTE: The step numbers and ID letters used on this page may differ from those in your Owner s Manual. Assemble & Install Rear Wall Supports Skip this Step in the Owner s Manual. Your shed now has doors at both ends instead of a Rear Wall. Install Rear Gable Skip this Step in the Owner s Manual. You should have already installed both Gables, along with Doors at both ends of the shed. Attach Door Trim After installing the Door Frames and Doors at the front of the shed (as per the Owner s Manual) use the Parts and Hardware from this kit and follow the steps below to install the Doors and Door Frames at the rear of the shed. a Slide Side Door Trim (AD) into place onto door hinge brackets. MM (8) Hardware Bags: 1012086 Screwdriver AD AD b Attach four Door Trim Brackets (CE) above the door frame. CE MM Look for screw hole locator marks above door frame. 14

c Slide Door Trim Clips (CK) into the top of the Side Door Trim (AD) (Fig. 1), on each side of the door. Slide the Top Door Trim (AC) into place, and Secure with the Door Trim Clips (Fig. 2).
