You may notice some distortion in the mirror as tempered glass will not reflect a perfectly true image. This is an inherent condition found in all tempered glass mirrors. how to care for your door NEVER USE SCOURING POWDER, PADS OR SHARP INSTRUMENTS ON METAL WORK OR GLASS PANELS. The use of a squeegee following each shower is recommended to eliminate water spots on the inside of the glass panels. An occasional wiping down with a mild detergent diluted in water is all that is needed to keep the panels and anodized aluminum parts looking new. CAUTION: TEMPERED GLASS CANNOT BE CUT.

MEASURING FOR BOTTOM TRACK NOTE: If your shower has a curve in the corners at the side walls, be sure to measure distance D above curves. Measure distance D at the flattest part of the tub ledge. CAUTION: If a steel tape is used, be sure to add the width of the case to the measurement. D CUTTING BOTTOM TRACK NOTE: Wear Safety Glasses. Cut bottom track 8" shorter than distance D. Do not cut top track at this time. For best results use a tooth hacksaw blade and a miter box. LOCATING BOTTOM TRACK Place the bottom track on the flattest part of the ledge with the sloping face of the track towards the inside of the shower. Make sure that the space between the wall and track is the same on both ends. Fasten the track with masking tape. Mark the ledge with a soft pencil along the front edge of the track. NOTE: Track must sit flat. If your ledge has a curve in the corners at the side walls or is of fiberglass construction it may be necessary to shape the ends of the track with a file. Bottom Track
DRILLING HOLES NOTE: Wear Safety Glasses 6" Diameter Holes " Drill three 6" diameter holes along the groove at the back of each wall jamb as shown. " Approximately " Off Center 5 LOCATING WALL JAMBS AND MARKING HOLE LOCATIONS Place one wall jamb down over end of bottom track. jamb must sit flat against the wall with legs of wall jamb fully engaged with bottom track. NOTE: You may need to shape the bottom ends of jambs to fit units having a curve at the side walls. Bottom Track Inside of Tub Level Use a level to plumb the wall jamb as shown and mark the hole locations. Repeat procedure at opposite end of unit with other jamb. Pencil Bottom Track Inside of Tub 6 DRILLING HOLES NOTE: Wear Safety Glasses Remove bottom track. Lightly center punch the -hole locations for each wall jamb. On ceramic tile, use the center punch to nick the surface glaze. Tap the punch lightly with your hammer so you don t crack the tile. Drill all 6 holes with a 6" drill bit (use a masonry bit for ceramic tile). After drilling, thoroughly clean the tub ledge and insert anchors in all 6 holes.
7 CAULKING BOTTOM TRACK Caulk Apply caulk to the caulking grooves on the underside of the bottom track. Apply enough to just barely overfill the grooves. This will give a good seal with the tub ledge. Install bottom track on ledge in location marked earlier. Seal ends of track at wall with caulk. Bottom Track TURN OVER BEFORE INSTALLING ON LEDGE 8 INSTALLING WALL JAMBS AND BUMPERS Install each wall jamb by inserting over the bottom track. Align the holes in the wall jamb with the holes in the wall. Secure the wall jambs with No. 8-8 x " panhead screws provided. NOTE: Through the center hole of each wall jamb, secure a wall bumper with its guiding lip toward the inside of shower. Tighten all wall jamb screws. Bumper (Guiding Lip) Toward Inside of Shower No. 8-8 x " Panhead MEASURING, CUTTING AND INSTALLING TOP TRACK NOTE: Wear Safety Glasses Measure the wall to wall opening at the top of the wall jambs. Cut the top track 6" shorter than the actual measurement to allow for clearance. Use a tooth hacksaw blade and a miter box. CAUTION: If a steel tape is used, be sure to add the width of the case to the measurement. Install the top track over the wall jamb ends. 5
0 LOCATING AND INSTALLING BOTTOM TRACK GUIDE NOTE: Wear Safety Glasses Place the panel guide on the bottom track exactly midway between the wall jambs. No. 6- x 5 6" Flathead NOTE: One top edge of the guide fits into a groove at the front of the track. Drill a 8" hole in bottom track through the hole in the panel guide. Fasten panel guide with a No. 6- x 5 6" flathead screw. Midway Between s INSTALLING ROLLERS NOTE: The steel side of roller must be installed against frame. No. 8- x 8" Panhead Using No. 8- x 8" panhead screws, assemble two rollers on each panel as shown. NOTE: The steel side of roller must be installed against frame. FRONT PANEL---- Install the rollers toward the rough side of glass. Glass with patterns, install the rollers opposite the pattern side. INSIDE PANEL----Install the rollers toward the smooth side of glass. Glass with patterns, install the rollers toward the pattern side of glass. INSTALLING PANELS OUTSIDE OR ROOM SIDE Install the inside panel first. Lift it up inside the top track and hang the rollers on the inside rail of the top track. Lower the panel bottom frame into the bottom track panel guide. Inside Rail Slide the inside panel against the wall jamb on the same side as showerhead. If the panel does not align with the wall jamb nearest the shower head, remove the panel, loosen roller screw(s), move roller(s) in slot to align door panel, tighten screw(s), and rehang panel. Inside Panel Bottom Track Panel Guide OUTSIDE OR ROOM SIDE Lift the outside panel up inside the top track and hang the rollers on the outside rail of the top track. Align with the wall jamb opposite the showerhead. Adjust rollers if necessary, using same procedure as for the inside panel. Outside Rail Outside Panel 7
INSTALLING TOWEL BAR BRACKETS AND TOWEL BAR (For Series 600B) Fasten towel bar bracket to each end of towel bar using No. 8-8 x 8" binding head screws. Bracket Install the towel bar to the outside panel away from the tub. Use No. 8-8 x 8" binding head screws to fasten brackets to the panel frame as No. 8-8 x 8" Binding Head INSTALLING TOWEL BAR BRACKETS AND TOWEL BAR (For Series 60B, 6B, 6B, 65B and 67B) Fasten towel bar bracket to each end of towel bar using No. 8-8 x 8" flathead screws. Bracket Install the towel bar to the outside panel away from the tub. Use No. 8-8 x 8" flathead screws to fasten brackets to the panel frame as shown. No. 8-8 x 8" Flathead 8
INSTALLING HANDLE No. 8-8 x 8" Panhead Place one plastic handle on the inside panel side frame at the showerhead side. Secure with a No. 8-8 x 8" panhead screw. Inside Panel Handle This Part of Handle Toward Inside of Tub OUTSIDE OR ROOM SIDE CAULKING CAREFULLY CAULK WHERE: (A) jambs and wall meet. (B) Bottom track and wall jamb join. (C) Bottom track and tub ledge meet. Allow caulk to set hours before use.
