This first get together on June 26 will be an introductory session. This will give girls opportunity to decide if they want to commit to the program for the remainder of the summer on Tuesdays for 8 weeks. Trainees will be given basic training in craft making, sewing fashion accessories, caring and entrepreneurship. There is no cost for Part 1 (5 weeks) of this course and supplies will be provided. Sweat equity is required, not optional. If one wishes to use materials for their own craft there is a small fee to cover the costs. A nominal fee is charged to cover the cost of Part 2 of this course where teams of girls select projects to teach, create and market.
