After a short distance take the first small slip road to Effingham (on left) into Old Lane. Continue on passing the Black Swan Public Inn until reaching a staggered junction. Proceed straight across into Howard Road passing over the hump back bridge (at Effingham Junction Station) which then becomes Effingham Common Road passing through Effingham village shopping parade and upon reaching the traffic lights continue straight ahead into Beech Avenue. After a short distance turn left into High Barn Road and continue for about 0.5 of a mile up the hill at which point the entrance gates to High Barn will be found on the left hand side.
