After a short distance take the first small slip road to Effingham (on left) into Old Lane. Continue on passing the Black Swan Public Inn until reaching a staggered junction. Proceed straight across into Howard Road passing over the hump back bridge (at Effingham Junction Station) which then becomes Effingham Common Road passing through Effingham village shopping parade and upon reaching the traffic lights continue straight ahead into Beech Avenue.
