Lakota Chapter History Project est. 1994 MASTER COMPILATION (As of Tuesday, 14 August 2012) Pre Lakota District Chapter Region Pacifica Lakota South Bay South Bay Wyandot Torrance & the PV hill cities Harbor Gabrielino Wilmington, San Pedro, Harbor City, Lomita, & Carson Adventure Mescalero El Segundo, MB, HB, RB, & Gardena Creation of Lakota Chapter: a. The Chapter Advisers were Bob Shockley for Wyandot, Gil Arevalo for Gabrielino, and Doug Timmons for Mescalero. Wyandot was the oldest of the three Chapters. b. Council decided to merge the three Districts so the Chapters also had to merge. c. A committee of Advisers from all three Chapters met to create a plan for merger and to create a new separate Chapter, rather than absorb two into the third. d. The new Pacifica District Key-6 selected Bob Shockley from the three Advisers to serve as Adviser to the new Chapter. e. At early meetings of the new Chapter the youth adopted rules, elected Officers, and chose the Chapter name, totem, & colors. 1.
