Images or similar images exhibited in previous PAC Salon not eligible even if the title is different. Entries must originate as photographs (image captured of objects via light sensitivity) made by the entrant on photographic emulsion or acquired digitally. By virtue of submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as his own and permits the sponsors to reproduce all or part of the entered material free of charge for publication and/or display in media related to the exhibition. This may include low resolution posting on a website. The exhibition assumes no liability for any misuse of copyright. Digital images may be acquired digitally or scanned from traditional film to create a digital file. All final work must be a digital file. Entries to be submitted as digital file by online through our website or CD-Rom (not refundable). All acceptances are eligible for statistics applicable to FIAP, PSA, RPS, and FIP. While every effort is made to ensure safe handling of all entries, PAC accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur. Size and presentation: Each author may present a maximum of four different works of projected image in each section. The theme is free. The four works of each participant in a section will be presented to the judges at random. All works must be sent on a digital support formatted in JPEG/JPG, 72 dpi, having the larger side of maximum 1024 pixels in case of horizontal images and 768 pixels in case of vertical images. Titles must not exceed 30 characters. Desirably, flies may be named as: Title of the photograph-section code and serial number as per entry form. (e.g. FLOWER-A1. SEABEACH-B1. etc.) The participant should obtain the original image in photographic emulsion or in digital files. All images must be original by the author and may not incorporate elements produce by other people. The organization is not liable for the improper use by the participants or violation of copyrights. Any modification of the original image should be performed by the author. Black and white/ Monochrome images are not eligible for open color section. Each author will attach the specific entry form of PAC International Salon 2011 (photocopy of the entry form will also be accepted). Catalogue: Every participant will be given a catalogue produced on CD-Rom having an image dimension of maximum 800 pixels with a resolution of 72 dpi in JPEG format provided that they paid full entry fee.
Reproduction of works: By virtue of the entry, all participants certify that each work is their own and authorize the organization to exhibit/reproduce their works either totally or partially, without limitation of system, means or countries and without receiving copyrights. The participants are fully responsible for the rights of their parties and claim for image rights. PSA Definition: A Photo Travel slide, print or electronic file must express the feeling of a time and place, portray a land, its people, or a culture in its natural state, and has no geographical limitations. Ultra close-ups which lose their identity, studio-type model shots, or photographic manipulations that misrepresent the true situation or alter the content of the image are unacceptable in Photo Travel competition. No elements may be moved, cloned, added, deleted, rearranged or combined. No manipulation or modification is permitted except resizing, cropping, selective lightening or darkening and restoration of original color of the scene. No special effect filters can be applied. Ant sharpening must appear natural.
