Fr the cnvenience f the mtrist, there must be cntinuity and a unifrm pattern f marking and numbering these Interstate rutes withut regard t state lines. The U.S. Numbered System was established in 1926 and the Interstate Numbered System was established in 1956. Bth have reached the perid f review, revisin, and cnslidatin.
