With the deepest salutations this unpretentious endeavor is offered to our revered Gurudeva Sri Sri Paramahansa Yoganandaji s divine lotus feet. With my remarkably inadequate musical knowledge and guitar playing, I could in no way have completed this work without His ever-flowing grace and love. Hari Om Tat Sat One who sings these spiritualized songs, Cosmic Chants, with true devotion will find God-communion and ecstatic joy, and through them the healing of body, mind, and soul. ~ Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda It is respectfully requested that this work not be used for the commercial purposes: it is solely intended for the devotees who want accompanying themselves on the guitar while chanting Gurudeva s Chants. If you like my work please express your thankfulness to our beloved Gurudeva for guiding my intuition in suggesting all you dear ones the guitar chords for these two Chants: 1. JAI GURU, and 2. TODAY MY MIND HAS DIVED I humbly want you all to know that I am not a musician and so some mistakes may creep in here and there. In addition, the suggested chords may not meet your individual preferences or expectations. I trust I will be forgiven for that. Though the intimidating-looking chord names may suggest otherwise, you will quickly find out that the chords are reasonably uncomplicated to play. Lots of time and energy has gone into setting these chord arrangements to realistically retain the natural flow of the given chants. I leave it to you guitar players to decide whether I have succeeded in my effort or not. Let me also add that I ve worked out these chord arrangements based on the Melody given in the book Cosmic Chants which is available from Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF). As far as I know, this particular book with Melody Lines (Notation/Lead Sheet) has not yet been printed or distributed by Yogoda Satsang Society (YSS) of India; therefore, it is not available at this part of the world. 1

Da Capo: D.C. : : Often abbreviated to D.C., this Italian word means from the head. When you see this sign, you must go back to the beginning or head of the piece of music to continue from there. First and Second Ending to a Repetition: 1. 2. : This indicates that when repeating the chords between the double bars and dots you should skip the measure (or measures) in the enclosure marked 1 and replace with the chords in the enclosure marked 2. \ Strum again the same chord for each diagonal line until the next chord change comes.
