Rebecca Andree-President Becky serves as the Board of Directors President and on both the Governance and Compensation Committees. She earned a B.A. in Accounting from Carthage College, a M.A. in Human and Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University and is a Ph.D. Candidate in Human and Organizational Development from Fielding Graduate University. Currently, Becky is founder and CEO of Vertical Leadership Consulting (VLC). She coaches and develops leaders to handle the volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA) in today s business environments. She is a sought after speaker on integrating vertical development (how leaders think) into leadership development programs to prepare leaders for today s VUCA environments. Prior to launching her own company, Becky worked for several Fortune 100 companies in various HR/Talent Management roles focused on designing and deploying global initiatives (leadership development, performance management, employee engagement, succession planning, workforce development, technology enhancements, and career development). Lastly, Becky has lived in the West Michigan area for 19 years. Her son, Carson, attended Walden Green from 1st to 5th grade. Although Carson transitioned to another school district in 6th grade to become more active in sports, Becky opted to stay involved on the Walden Green Board as a community member. She values the opportunity to lead the Board in ensuring Walden Green continues to be an alternate public school choice available in our communities.
Brooke Kazma-Vice President Brooke serves at the Board of Directors Vice President and is the Chair of the Governance Committee. She earned a B.A in English, a B.A. in Secondary Education, and a B.A. in history from Grand Valley State University. Currently, Brooke teaches 8th grade English Language Arts for Muskegon Public Schools. Her previous experience includes teaching grades 6-12 in a charter school serving high needs students in the foster care system, technology classes at Muskegon Catholic Central, and grades 7-12 through a teacher exchange program in Wollongong, Australia. She believes in a life of service and has volunteered for many organizations including Make A Wish, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Mom s Club International, Grand Valley State University, and Grand Rapids Public Schools. Brooke is also a published writer. Lastly, Brooke has lived in the Nunica and Ferrysburg areas for the last ten years. Her children Jack, 8, and Emma, 7, are currently students at Walden Green.
Pamela Parriott-Treasurer Pam serves as the Board of Directors Treasurer and is the Chair of the Finance Committee. She earned a B.S. in Psychology from Michigan State University and a M.A. in Educational Administration & Community Leadership (School Administration Certificate). Pamela is the founding Executive Director and President of KConnect, a network of public and private organizations working to ensure that all children in Kent County have an equitable path to economic prosperity through quality education, family, and community supports. Prior to her leadership of KConnect, Pamela served as Director for Oversight with CMU s Center for Charters and then CEO of Choice Schools Associates. Pamela is a native of Central Michigan, but has lived in West Michigan for the past 15 years. Pamela and her husband Jeff have six children Maddison, 26, Grant, 23, Mason, 23, Morgan, 21, Madison, 21, and Garrett, 16.
Thomas Paniucki-Secretary Tom serves as the Board of Directors Secretary. He earned a B.A. in Elementary Education and a M.A. in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University. Tom was employed in education for 38 ½ years. He served in many educational roles including Teacher, Principal, Curriculum Director, and retired as a Superintendent. Tom has been married for 47 years to his wife Dixie. They have two sons, Tom Jr. and Kyle. They are also blessed with three grandchildren and a fourth on the way. Tom loves to travel, play golf, all sports, and most importantly spending time with his family.
Todd Lucas-Director Todd serves as a Director on the Board of Directors and on the Finance Committee. He earned a B.A. in Communications and History from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Todd worked as a store manager for the home improvement retailer, Menards all throughout the Midwest before settling in Muskegon, MI (2006). He left Menards in 2012 to join his current company, Family Farm and Home, which is based in downtown Muskegon. Todd is a Buyer in their corporate office. Todd and his wife Allison live in Norton Shores. Allison is an attorney and owner of Westshore Law in Spring Lake. They have 4 daughters (Evie, Lorelei, Ophelia and Hyacinth). The oldest 3 girls all attend Walden Green Montessori. Hyacinth attends Winter Sun School in Norton Shores.
