The Common Thread Chronicle PAGE PAGE 3 Christmas Stockings Due! The November meeting on November 12 is the final day to turn in the Christmas stockings for the Parker Task Force. Children of all ages will appreciate the stockings with their goodies this holiday season. The Task Force distributes these items to less fortunate families in the Parker area. Thank you to Mary Myrup and her friend Patty for overseeing this project this year! And thanks to all members who participated in buying fabric and sewing up these fun stockings. Christmas Dinner - December 10, 6:00 PM Note time change for this meeting Instead of a regular meeting, the club meets for dinner at a local restaurant in December. This year the location will be at Saltgrass Steakhouse, across from the Parker Adventist Hospital, just south of the Holiday Inn. We will be meeting at 6:00 PM. To finish off our year of challenges, bring a Christmas/Holiday ornament made of fabric. This can be pieced, appliqued, cross stitched, or any other creative way you might have in making a fabric ornament. Embellishments, are good! These will be exchanged. Participation is not necessary, but only those who make an ornament will be exchanging for another. We hope to see everyone there!
