OFFSHORE & MARINE SHIPS & VESSELS ADIPEC Offshore & Marine s defining feature is a temporary quay, with a series of state-of-the-art offshore vessels berthed directly alongside the exhibition. In previous years we have seen some excellent feats of engineering, including a high-speed craft and landing craft, tugboats, and platform supply vessels. Attendees are able to tour the vessels on display, seeing the latest evolution in marine engineering and technology first-hand. The marina waterfront feature boasts an impressive lineup of Offshore Support Vessels, Tugs, a Jack-Up Barge and many more. SHIPS & VESSELS DISPLAYED AT THE MARINA IN 2018 Among a few significant launches at the Offshore & Marine Exhibition, Zakher Marine International will conduct a naming ceremony for its newly acquired jack-up barge, which is said to be the company s largest vessel yet. With a four lattice leg jack up and the ability to elevate with 2,000 tone of variable deck load with her 95 jacking motor and pinion jacking system, the barge has 1650 m2 of feck space for client equipment. The barge is serviced by a 400 ton leg pedestal crane on the aft deck, plus a 50 ton service crane. It can handle any project, construction or requirement. Her 110m long legs give her the ability to operate in water depths of up to 80 meters and it can be precisely positioned using its 6 thrusters under DP2 control. Safety of life is assured by five 100-men lifeboats and it is further serviced by a 22 metres CAP437 approved helideck, fitted with a refueling system. ADIPEC OFFSHORE & MARINE PRESENTS COMMERCIAL DIVE ZONE Launched in 2019 due to an increasing number of offshore projects in the MENA region, first of its kind in the UAE the ADIPEC Commercial Dive Zone will enable global subsea and offshore solution providers to showcase the expertise required to carry out Commerical Diving, this will include exhibitors who provide solutions to perform such work as inspection, repair & maintenance and welding, along with other specialist services, with real life demonstrations of such activities in action to 20,000 offshore and marine attendees. As NOC s and IOC s continue to operate and locate new discoveries within ultra-deep waters in increasingly challenging environments there is a growing demand for ROVs and Unmanned Vehicles to enable exploration activities in depths reaching several thousand metres, such as the pre-salt layers off the coast of Brazil and new finds off the coast of West Africa. The market for ROV s is forecast to grow with spend due to reach USD $943.1 million by 2023. At ADIPEC 2019 attendees and delegates will be able to touch and experience the capabilities of the technologies that will enable the growth of the offshore sector in person from some of the leading suppliers in the industry. www.adipec.com/offshore-marine 9
