Hasslar of Washington City, D.C. as his attorney on 23 Nov 1852 in Cobb Co., Georgia, to obtain the pension of his father,, who had served in the Revolutionary War. He stated that his father died in August 1836 in Hall Co., GA, and that his mother, named Kendrick, died a few weeks thereafter in the County of Forsyth, Georgia.
