Kendrick researchers have assumed that she was a Cannon because Russell Cannon, Simcock's son, had a daughter, Judith, who married a Kendrick, Kendricks, Kindricks, or Kindrick - first name unknown. [However, it appears that it may be John Kendrick of Lawrence Co.,

His son, Robert Kendrick, appointed F. E. Hasslar of Washington City, D.C. as his attorney on 23 Nov 1852 in Cobb Co., Georgia, to obtain the pension of his father,, who had served in the Revolutionary War. He stated that his father died in August 1836 in Hall Co., GA, and that his mother, named Kendrick, died a few weeks thereafter in the County of Forsyth, Georgia. After marriage, they resided in Union District, SC, and later came to Georgia. [ applied for a pension, which he did not receive, 14 Mar 1834. He said that he and his wife came to Franklin Co., GA, about 1814 and to Hall Co., GA, about 1821. According to a 1933 letter, Kendrick died at the home of Henry H. Beall and Elizabeth Beall in Forsyth Co., GA, with whom she had lived since the death of her husband. Elizabeth was and Abel's daughter.
