Have a great one! Our June Second Friday featured the ever-popular Trivia session conducted by Karin Froio and Caroline Fusco. Don t forget to connect with Ruth Ann Clarke at our July Second Friday to get 50-50 raffle tickets for a chance to be a big winner! The Group Valet system, hosted for SPVCA by Ron Cook, continues to be well utilized both for signing up and for canceling. Thank you. The Recreation Committee ran its first month of Games Days. Given the heat outside, outdoor games (Bocce, Corn Hole, and Horseshoes) will be deferred until Fall. Indoor Games Days that included Euchre, Mexican Train Dominoes, Canasta, Pinochle, and Shanghai were initiated. I attended and learned Euchre and Canasta, and had a good time. I encourage all who are looking for a fun or learning experience to participate. Sue Olsen welcomes your suggestions for other game activities. The Building Reserve Fund Drive to maintain the long-term sustainability of the SPVCA clubhouse is still ongoing. At present, the fund stands at $16,700, over two-thirds of the way towards the $25,000 goal! To those who have already responded with donations, thank you. To those who intend to respond, please be generous, and thank you in advance. Please remember that, as always, the Board and I seek member feedback regarding what's working well/what can be improved as we move through the year.
