Crisp appearance and notable performance With angular end caps, deep interior channel aand pleasing aspect ratio, Selka presents a crisp, refreshing style. Widespread uplight, comfortable downlight, high efficacy, and generous light output all make Selka eminently practical. Selka offers two distinctive downlight options: a regressed light guide, with a smoothly luminous effect; and regressed parabolic louvers, with a rhythmic visual texture in either specular or matte finish. Both options combine visual comfort with good cut off and a soft downlight distribution. For direct/indirect distributions, our light guide optic produces smooth ceiling brightness and wide spacing. Selka with parabolic louvers is available with ChromaWerx Duo and Sola options for both direct and direct/indirect lighting. ChromaWerx Duo provides independent control of color temperature (from 2700K to 6500K) and light output. ChromaWerx Sola provides predetermined output as color temperature changes from 3500K to 2700K. Controllers are available through LumenWerx or third party control manufacturers. Form The six planes and champfered edges of the Selka end cap create a crisp angular entry into the deep channel of the housing. Contrast between the brightness of the reflector panels and the three-dimensional surfaces of the end cap enhance the effect. Regularly spaced louver blades create a rhythmic texture to Selka s lighted appearance. Lumen output up to 1200 lumens per foot is available for both uplight and downlight. In addition to ChromaWerx Duo and Sola, Selka offers the full range of electrical and controls options, including integrated sensors, grouped and networked controls, as well as separate control over direct and indirect lighting. Complete optical assemblies mount in a cartridge, assuring consistent optical alignment. Cartridges snap out of the luminaire for field service and connect to drivers with quick-connect harnesses. Parabolic Louver Optics Selka s parabolic louvers provide excellent shielding and a pleasing crisp visual texture. Set into the luminaire housing, the precisely molded louvers consist of 1" deep blades. The louver fits neatly to the angled side panels, which provide additional transverse shielding. 3 1/2" Selka offers two louver finishes: Specular, which delivers higher efficacy, and Matte, which creates a gentler luminous surface 1 13/32" 3 3/8" Specular Matte 5 www.lumenwerx.com
Light Guide Optics LumenWerx employs light guide technology in a variety of optics, including the Regressed Light Guide Optic and Widespread Indirect Optic used in Selka. Precise coupling of light emitted by two vertically oriented LED arrays determines the thickness of the guide. Optical grade virgin acrylic assures high total internal reflection (TIR). Nanostructures etched into the distributing surface of the guide extract light into the desired patterns. A reflector on the opposite side redirects stray light back into the beam. Regressed Light Guide Optic The Regressed Light Guide Optic (RLG) consists of side-mounted LED arrays, coupled to the light guide, which extracts light into a lambertian distribution. An upper reflector of 98% reflective, diffuse aluminum enhances system efficiency. A thin diffuser below the light guide provides additional source obscuration. The entire assembly is regressed into the luminaire housing for deep lateral shielding. Angled side panels with a high-reflectance, matte white finish direct light into a soft and widespread downlight distribution, with spacing criterion of 1.4. Widespread Indirect Optics - WIO The Widespread Indirect Optic (WIO) delivers peak intensity at 125º, while suppressing direct uplight. Peak-to-zenith intensity ratio is 2:1, outstanding for a narrow luminaire. WIO produces noticeably smoother ceiling brightness than a typical lambertian uplight distribution, permitting generally wider spacing as well. Selka offers two-circuit wiring as an option for independently controlled indirect and direct light. Widespread Indirect Optics Indirect Light Guide Direct Light Guide 3 7/8" 1 11/16" 3 3/8" 6
