HOLIDAY HOMEWORK 2018-19 PP-II Dear parents We have planned a calendar of fun activities for four weeks only. Kindly guide the child to do these fun activities throughout the summer vacations. The idea is to enhance children s awareness of their surroundings and life skills. Take a print out of the detailed thematic activities along with the fun sheets. Encourage the child to do these activities independently as much as possible. The child may add his/her own creativity to make the fun sheets more interesting!! Kindly follow the instructions below to complete the fun filled summer assignment. Mention the date on the fun sheets and submit them in a labeled clear folder. Let s Make a Sandwich You will need: 2 slices of brown bread. 1 cheese slice. 4 small round pieces of cucumber & tomato each. How to make: Keep cheese slice on one bread slice. Put cucumber and tomato pieces on cheese slice. Now cover the above with the second piece of bread. Our healthy sandwich is ready. Please make a Smiley with Ketchup on the top! WEEK 3 FRUITS AND VEGETABLES Activity 1:- Make a lacing tag of your favourite fruit. :- Make a cut out of your favourite fruit on a A4 size sheet. :- Laminate the cut out. z:- Take the help of your parents, punch holes on the border with a distance of 1 inch. (8)
CELEBRATION TIME Activity 3:- 17 th June is International Father s Day. Prepare a card and paste a picture with your father and bring in a folder. (9)
Activity 2:- ENJOY A FRUITY TREAT Take a help of your mother in peeling and cutting of fruits and vegetables. Mix them in a bowl and add a pinch of chaat masala and few drops of lemon juice. Your fruit salad is ready, enjoy with your parents. (10)
Activity 4: Organize a theme party and invite your friends. Click few pictures with your friends and paste on a A4 size sheet mentioning fun games you organized. (11)
WEEK 4 LITTLE HANDS AT WORK MY FAVOURITE TRANSPORT Activity 1:- Make a model of your favourite transport by using cartons of juice, milk or matchbox. Activity 2:- Make flash cards of letters A-Z 6 x 6 and get them laminated. (12)
