Contact Guin at guin@msoasalem.com Thank you to everyone that participated in our Gas Card Raffle! The kids had fun winning weekly prizes and hundreds of tickets were sold. Thanks to you, we raised over $1000! Our student that sold the most tickets and won a free summer art camp was Mackenzie G., with 90 tickets sold. Our winners were the Davies Family - $100 gas card, Pam G. - $50 gas card and Betty O. - $25 gas card. Thank you to everyone that participated and made our raffle a success! Director s Note Wasn't it fun to get a look at all the completed art work of our MSOA students! I'm so proud of ALL the students whether they won an award or not - they worked hard at completing their projects and produced beautiful works of art. I'm impressed and guessing all our guests were as well. New Student Orientation I enjoyed talking with many of our parents during the evening. One story in particular intrigued me and maybe it will be inspiring for you as well. It turns out that 9-year-old Raquelle Charlick paid her own tuition for Drawing class by selling her art! She loves to draw and has been turning her artwork into greeting cards which she then sells to friends and family. And if paying for 1 class isn't enough, she's now working on earning enough to take 2 classes next term! Raquelle, good work! (And if anyone would like to purchase any of these to help her reach her goal contact us!). Once again, thank you for enrolling your wonderful kids at MSOA. We are already planning our spring term, so if you know of someone who would like to teach computer art, anime, cartooning, calligraphy or anything else, please let me know. Merry Christmas!
