H ere s a new space station to go into orbit around the Earth! You can build it using pieces from your LEGO collection. Don t worry if the colors don t match use whatever colors you like! When you are done building, you can take it apart and build something else, or build space vehicles to visit your space station. It s up to you! BUILDER TIP When building something that is real, like a space station, a baseball stadium, or even a bird like on the next page, it s a good idea to look at any pictures you can find of the thing you want to create. This makes it easier for you to make a model, because you will have a picture of what it really looks like!
BUILDER TIP Even though this model is small, designer Mark Roe wanted to make it look like it was a really big space station. So he built a tiny space shuttle to go along with it. You know a space shuttle is very big in real life, so by making it so small here, Mark makes the space station look much bigger.
