If you are like me sometimes I get stumped and need a little inspiration for title, journaling, etc. this book is for you. This book literally has a section on almost every subject you could scrapbook. I have used it when creating cards also. It has lots of really great quotes that just add the "finishing touch" to a page and make for great journaling too. Some topics I wish there were more on but with this many topics I understand why you have to limit content.
A friend of mine has a bookshelf of books to get ideas of what to write in our scrapbooks. She showed this book to me and told me she only uses it, and the rest are worthless. It was quite hard for me to find this, but it was worth it! I LOVE IT! It has a ton of different occasions or topics, all in alphabetical order. SO HELPFUL! I got the Guide to the Perfect Card also, and love it, too! This book is a must have for any scrapper. I saw this at a workshop and used it while I was there and just had to have it. The pages I have made with the sayings or quotes are just so much cuter and more adorable. It really makes the scrapbook page stand out more with a great quote or title. They have tons of different sayings and each one of them is awesome. I could not be happier with this book. It is an excellent resource. It's a must have at any crop or work shop! I am an advid scrapbooker, but at times, ideas for pages and titles just will elude me. I saw this book and thought "WOW!! this is something I could use!!" When I opened my new book, I began to see ideas flying off the pages right onto my scrapbook page. It is a good book to have, when those ideas are just not there. My "Ulimate Guide to the Perfect Word" has become a very important part of a relaxing evening with pictures that will become lifelong memories for family and friends. If you are a scrapbooker and lost for words, grab this book. It will give you The Perfect Word everytime. I have this book and liked it so well that I purchased one for my scrapping daughter. Virginia The book does contain tons of words by topic. Unfortunately, the font in which they are set is just AWFUL! I got a headache in the first 20 pages. Also, the author has included LOTS of her own poems and sayings rather than doing more serious research. I am still looking for a book with "perfect" words. The book is fantastic! There isn't any other book that has as many quotes, poems, and sayings. I'm a card maker, scrapbooker and never go without words for my work. It's a must have for anyone who is looking for the right words at the right time. It's fun just to go though and read the book.
