Vern McHargue, Long & Foster Vern has served on the PWAR board for four years - as director, treasurer, vice president and as ambassador. During that time, he helped reduce expense for the annual independent audit, create an investment policy, chaired the budget & finance committee and improved interim financial statements used to communicate to the board and membership. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience negotiating contracts, planning and budgeting, leading board committees and has worked on a variety of commercial and residential real estate projects, including complex financing structures... but real estate is the most fun!
