Get inspired ECO-oh! arrives at the Triennale di Milano with TheNewNORMAL! - let s recycle for life a project curated by Lorenzo Palmeri for the Design Week 2017. The New Normal, Let s recycle for life invites visitors to think about living their lives even more in harmony with nature. ECO-oh! believes the collecting of household plastics will come naturally, just as it is today for paper and glass. Then we can stop burning these plastics and recycle them into valuable raw materials that can be transformed into beautifully designed, 100% recyclable products. Products with unique textures and shapes, created by designers that embrace life and surprising customers with simplicity and beauty. Let s recycle for life.

Household plastics are everywhere, we use plastic in fruit and vegetable packaging, yoghurt pots and butter tubs, films, bags and so much more. ECO-oh! wants to inspire you to sort out these plastics, because they are precious raw materials that should not be incinerated. Together we aspire to 100% recycling. MIXED PLASTICS to recycle
Let, s recycle RECYCLING HOUSEHOLD PLASTICS INTO VALUABLE RAW MATERIALS In our unique plant in Belgium mixed plastics are processed directly into valuable raw materials in the most ecological and cost-effective way. It is our way to help shape a cleaner planet with happy people using plastics that benefit nature.
Let, s create FROM YOGHURT POT TO DESIGN BENCH Every object we create is made of 100% recycled plastics and is 100% recyclable. From functional sustainable garden edging to masterpieces of art, like the Altamira Collection. Every object is the result of families for whom the sorting out of plastic has become natural. By designing public furniture citizens can enjoy the result of their sorting.
Feel invited WHAT WOULD YOU DESIGN IN PRECIOUS RECYLED PLASTICS? Closing the cycle of precious plastics is something we do together. We therefore invite designers and manufacturers to re-think existing products and processes or to design and create new ones. By designing with respect for the nature of recycled plastics you will discover the beauty within this material. Feel invited.
Let, s innovate NEW TECHNOLOGIES ARE OFFERING UNLIMITED POSSIBILITIES FOR RECYCLED PLASTICS
INNOVATION IN PROCESS TECHNOLOGY AND DESIGN ARE THE VALUE DRIVERS OF OUR COMPANY. Recently we decided to consider our factory as a living innovation lab. We constantly face the challenge to create new markets in order to find niche- or mass market applications. To do so we believe in partnerships within the plastic industry and in crossing borders, learning from other industries. Therefore, we welcome and support every idea that makes use of recycled plastics. CO-EXTRUSION WITH STEEL WIRE. PATENT PENDING. Because of the nature of our material the basic colour is grey. Co-extrusion allows us to use our basic material for the core, and to upgrade the skin by putting in texture and colour. Besides, we patented a system to reinforce profiles with steel wire, creating a wide range of new applications. SANDWICH INJECTION The new H-bench is the result of a profound compounding process, combined with innovative moulding techniques that enable us to produce a high-quality bench. Every design starts with respect for the specifications of the material. What can we learn from your industry? MATTING AS SEMI-FINISHED PRODUCT. PATENT PENDING. By condensing plastic flakes and fibres into a mat, we created a new semi-finished product for the thermoforming industry. Mats can vary in terms of fibre content, colour, size, thickness, density and more. The mats can be used as such, or can be transformed into boards. We look forward to develop a wide range of in-and outdoor furniture. Whatever idea you have, feel free to inspire us! 100% recycled & recyclable Rot-resistant Weather-resistant Easily processed Maintenance-free Long-lasting Harmless
Altamira Collection Through the Altamira Collection design stretches into art. By creating a collection of 4 benches made from 100% post-consumer plastics, the artist, François Blommaerts, honours the recycling process as a way to respect nature. Just as in nature, the Altamira Collection is a play of waves as found in old canyons in Arizona where the artist found his inspiration for the Altamira Collection. Enjoy the lounge comfort of the benches while reflecting about life. RECYCLED PLASTIC ART THAT HONOURS NATURE
