A judgement of competency is based on sufficient evidence that demonstrates that the candidate consistently demonstrates all elements of a unit, has the required knowledge and skills and has met any pre-requisite or co-requisite requirements. To ensure consistency of performance, candidates will need to demonstrate competence a number of times under a variety of conditions. Results & Appeals Results are available, electronically, to students within 10 working days of the final assessment due date, unless otherwise negotiated. Students who are not deemed competent on an assessment may request a remark of the piece of assessment, and a report if required, within four weeks of the date of first publication of the results (e.g. Return of marked assessment, notification by lecturer, Statement of Academic Record). If you are deemed to have met the requirements on a re-mark, the re-marking fee will be refunded. The fee charged for producing a report is non-refundable.
