Dress of roses (acoustic) Kleid aus Rosen (akustisch) Notes Where shall I begin? Maybe I should begin by emhasising that the focus in this score is laced on the guitar art, but I hoe that the voice and violin arts are also of interest. The guitar notation should really fulfil every wish. It is a combination of classical musical notation and tablature, although the latter contains only the most necessary information to make it easier to read. The rhythms can be seen in the uer notation, which also shows the fingering ositions for the sto and luck hand. The letters and numbers have the following meaning: right hand left hand thumb index finger i index finger middle finger m middle finger ring finger a ring finger little finger Further exlanations: Flag. (notation) and/or Harm. (tab) sl. (tab) (tab) H (tab) IV (notation system) (notation system) mark the natural harmonics (flageolets) which are created by lacing the sto finger lightly on the string directly above the fret and lucking the string. The tablature describes the sto osition and the note sounded can be seen in the notation (of course, you already know all this!). slide ull off hammer on IV osition (osition on the fingerboard) barré "Dress of roses" is a wonderful song, which can also be layed without a band because of its sarse instrumentation. I liked it so much I finally bought a new guitar to lay it on. The iece is layed on a steel-string guitar (although the technique of laying comes artly from classical and/or flamenco guitar). Those who want to make it sound as clear and cris as it does on the CD, should use Elixir strings. It is imortant to lay the quintulet tremolo in the intro and outro with alied thumb, i.e. the thumb lucks the string and remains ositioned on the next string until this string is lucked, and so on. At the end there are some slight variations of some rhythms, as Ingo lays them live at the moment. Quote: "It sounds better that way." It u to you. age
