Hi Campers! The time has come to get ready for camp! This is your registration form for classes and the fun stuff you would like to do at camp. Sign up early to make sure you get to do the things you would like to do. Our massage therapist, Marilyn, will be with us again. I know you will enjoy a massage, she does a terrific job. If your back and shoulders hurt from too much bending over the machine, this is where you need to go! Marilyn will be here on Thursday for you gals that are coming on Thursday! Marilyn's room is #107. Marilyn does hours, 1/2 hours and sitting by the minute. Be sure to sign up early, she fills up fast! NEW FOR THURSDAY! We now have the hotel all day on Thursday as well, so if you want to be able to have an extra day of sewing, shopping etc you can do it. Camp will start Friday at noon. If you are signed up for Friday and want to come Thursday, just let me know. We should have the hotel set up by noon on Thurs. Legion and Hospitality rooms are done first on Thursday morning while we wait for the "normal" people to check out. Games Click on the link above for all the games we play at camp and what you need to bring. ALL SAMPLES (EXCEPT THE MYSTERY) are pictured on the web page, all samples are available to see at the shop. The mystery can be seen at the shop if you wish to see it. Class Projects: Mystery Quilt -"The Cat's Meow" - Becky Marshall Always fun to do, this mystery is suitable for beginners or advanced quilters, it's easy to do. Should be able to finish the top and still have time for other things. Be sure you get the first steps before camp so you are already to go! At the shop or on the web page. WE CAN KIT THIS FOR YOU!. Click on the link below for cutting instructions. Cutting instructions for mystery quilt-cat's Meow Fun with Fat Quarters - Sue Anderson

You will be working on a wall hanging sized quilt using two common blocks that when set side by side produce new lines - color/fabric is then used to highlight/emphasize these new lines so the edges of the original blocks are blurred when the quilt is viewed as a whole. Please bring colored pencils to this class. Magic Twist 9 Patch / Disappearing 9 patch - Missy Ruelle The disappearing 9 patch is a simple variation on the traditional 9 patch block. It is very easy to make, and looks impressive when finished! This is an ideal pattern for a scrap quilt and a great way to use those charm square packs you bought and don't know what to do with. You can use any size squares to make any size quilt it's so versatile. Easter Bag - Becky Marshall Make this really cute bag for someone special for Easter! Great for an Easter basket, gift idea for a secret sister or a friend. Show - N - Tell Demos 3 Fat Quarter Purse with interchangeable handle - Sue Anderson What a great idea! Make as many purse bottoms as you want and you only need one handle! 3 FQs, a FQ of fusible fleece, a little PelTex and one handle and you are all set! We can kit this for you! Magic Texture Fabric - Becky Marshall Becky will tell you all about this product and how it works. Doll Bed - Becky Marshall This is a really neat gift for the special girls on your list! Storage boxes tuned into a doll bed with sheets, quilt and pillow for an 18" doll. When she's not playing with it, it becomes a storage place for her doll and everything else! Patterns will be available at the camp store for this project. Great grandmother gift! all of my young granddaughters are getting one for Christmas this year! Photo Fun - Becky Marshall Find your favorite pictures of your kids or grandkids and have Becky show you how she can change them into "Angels that Glitter". Can be used on a bag or mounted as a picture. Supply fee for this class. Double Diamond Ruler - Barb Maki This ruler was used last camp in "Leanna's What's It", if you would like to see it demonstrated again, come and watch Barb. You will be able to see some of the other

projects made with this ruler as well. Really fun and different. Power Cutting - Dianne Krenik This is a basic rotary cutting demo. Learn the accurate technique of rotary cutting using Deb Caffrey's technique called "Power Cutting". Great for a refresher too. Finish That Quilt - Borders and Binding and Bias Binding AND the Blind stitch Judy Pierce This class is a must for anyone that wants to learn the correct way to do your borders and how to make a "no lump binding" for your quilts or other projects that you have completed. You will also learn how to do the blind stitch on your binding so you don't see the stitches! This class will be held at the legion. Beads of Courage Amanda Nelson will be leading this venture. You can make "bead bags" to donate to this organization. This organization is a support and encouragement system for children with serious illness; cancer, blood disorders, cardiac and burn patients. A great cause! Amanda will have more information at camp and instructions on making the bags. 9x12 BAG 1 BAG - 2 FAT QUARTERS 7X10 BAG - 2 BAGS - 2 FATAQUARTERS Check them out on their web page: www.beadsofcourage.org Fun Small Quick Project Classes Block Exchange Mary Bacon This will be a very fast and easy block to make. For every 20 blocks turned in we will do a drawing and some lucky quilter will win all 20 blocks! Last camp we had 8 full drawings and the 9th with 12 blocks, that is 172 blocks made at camp, WOW! Happy Spring! Mary Bacon "Leanna's What's It" Project - A surprise!! This is another fast, fun, quick project you can do at camp. You will find everything you need in your bag to complete this project compliments of Quilters Corner. SECRET SISTERS - We will be doing the secret sisters at camp again. It has been a huge success. If you want to be a secret sister, you will need to sign up for this on your registration form!! You will receive your secret sister s name in your goodie bag when you get to camp. Bring several fun gifts with you to give her throughout camp. Remember we are all

women and we can do women gifts, not necessarily scrapbooker or quilter gifts. We will try to have some items at the shop at the hotel that you would be able to use as well. If you are at the hotel and your secret sister is at the legion, have someone take your gifts down there, and vise versa. It was great fun to get to know each other better during camp. A SUGGESTED AMOUNT TO SPEND IS $25.00 TOTAL ON GIFTS. FAT QUARTER DRAW - THEME IS SPRING FABRICS - QUILT SHOP QUALITY ONLY PLEASE! ALL 3 DRAWINGS DEVOTIONS We have had some requests for a devotional time at camp, so for those who are interested, we will have a devotional time at 8:30 in the pool area on both Saturday and Sunday morning. We will use the Our Daily Bread for this time, so if you have one bring it with you. We will have extras available at no cost. RULES AT CAMP - There are only 4, but they are really important! *1. NO Perfume, Hairspray or Lotions that have an odor to them. We have some gals that have asthma and/or allergies to these odors and cannot tolerate them without a reaction. Even if you think the smell is not offensive, it may be a problem for someone else. Please be considerate of others. We want everyone at camp to have a great time! If you wear something that is offensive to someone else, you will be asked to shower. Thank you for your cooperation on this matter *2. NO SMOKING - If you are still a smoker and we hope you will quit soon for your health you can smoke in your room (must be a smoking room) or outside, you must not smoke by the doors going in or out where other people will be affected by your smoke. If you need a smoking room, please let me know right away so we can change your room. If you smoke outside, you will need to smoke away from the doors to the hotel. *3. NO CELL PHONES RINGING - If you have a call please be sure to leave your table to talk so you do not bother others who are looking for quiet. PLEASE SET YOUR PHONES ON VIBRATE! *4. You will need a ruler guard on your 6 X 24 ruler. We have seen 2 very bad accidents and now we require you to have a guard on this ruler. If you do not have a guard, you can order one from us for $7.99 (much cheaper than the emergency room!) and we will bring it to camp for you.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO CAMP? 1. Sewing Machine cleaned, oiled and in good working condition. 2. Cutting tools ; rotary cutter, mat, ruler & guard 3. Basic sewing kit 4. Fabric and supplies for classes you have signed up for, or your unfinished projects 5. Comfortable clothes 6. Swimsuit The water slide is great, but the whirlpool is fantastic! 7. EXTRA LIGHT SOURCE As you know the lobby can be dark, we cannot ask the hotel to redo the lighting, so we need to bring extra lighting. The Ott lights are great - you need to bring something for yourself; floor or table/desk lamp 8. If you have a favorite comfortable chair that you use for sewing, and its transportable, by all means bring it with you 9. 3 fat quarters for the fat quarter drawing if you want to participate. We will be drawing out 3 winners each time to split the fat quarters. We will have these available at the camp store also 10. Bring a snack to share (One per room is enough) 11. Money or your credit card to shop with, for lunch or drinks. You will need a credit card at check in you can charge lunch, pizza, room service or drinks to your room. 12. Be sure to bring your projects for show and tell. Friday night is A-M (last name), Saturday night N-Z. If you have projects from previous camps, please bring them, we would like to see them. We will have the electrical plug- ins for you and the hotel has ironing boards and irons. You can bring your own if you like. Anything you can think of that will make your camping experience the greatest, bring it along. If you don t have it with you, you don t have any choices. CHECK IN TO THE HOTEL If you are staying on Thursday, April 7th, you may check in at 12 noon. Your room will already be paid for; you will need a credit card for extras and for their system. Check in on Friday, April 8th at any time. Your room will already be paid for; you will need a credit card for extras and for their system. Check out on Sunday, April 10th at 12:00 noon.
