Mounting / Placement of the RADIO DRIVER Screw-mounting For easier use, the RADIO DRIVER can be installed: - mounted on the wall with screws and pegs at an approximate height of 1.5 m, - on a support placed on an item of furniture or a shelf. Mount the base with screws and pegs suited to the support or on a flush-mounted box, then close and lock the unit. Separate the unit from its base by unlocking the casing. Starting up When you turn the unit on for the first time, you will need to set the time. Remove the battery cover. Fitting to the base Position the unit on its base and lock it. 1 Position the thermostat 2 Lock the thermostat on its base - 4 - - 5 -

Time setting Days (1 : Monday 7 : Sunday) Minutes Configuration To go to the configuration menus, turn the knob to, then press and hold the i button for 5 seconds. Hours 5 sec. Turn the knob to. The days flash. Press + or - to change the day, then press to confirm and continue on to the next setting. Repeat the operations to set the hours and minutes. To leave the time setting mode, turn the knob. - 6 - The unit will propose 4 configurations to choose from: Unit version (e.g. RADIO DRIVER 630) Unit version (e.g. 1.00) Configuration mode Basic configurations (Menu 1) Advanced configurations (Menu 2) Configurations of the consumption indication function (Menu 3) Radio association Menu 3 is only accessible when the RADIO DRIVER is associated with a TYWATT RADIO or with the consumption indication function of a PLC RADIO GP8 (see menu R). - 7 -

Basic configurations (menu 1) To change the various settings, press button 1, Choice of Pilot Wire type 6-order Pilot Wire (by default) 4-order Pilot Wire press the + or - buttons, then press to confirm the change and go to the next setting. Choice of programming Weekly (by default) Daily DHW stopped (by default) Status of the DHW* in absence DHW on automatic mode *Controlling the hot water tank (DHW) is only possible if the RADIO DRIVER is associated with a PLC RADIO GP8. After menu 1 has been configured, the unit returns to the choice of menus. To exit the configuration, turn the knob to the right. Choice of programming increments 1-hour increments (by default) 30-minute increments 15-minute increments - 8 - - 9 -

Advanced configurations (menu 2) Press button 2. To change the various settings, press the + or - buttons, then press to confirm the change and go to the next setting. Modification authorization for the user Modification authorized for the program Modification unauthorized for the program If there is a difference between the temperature noted (thermometer) and the temperature measured and displayed by the unit, function 2-02 modifies the way the probe takes measurements so as to compensate for this difference. Correction of the measured temperature. E.g. If the temperature displayed by the unit is 19 C and the temperature measured is 20 C, add 1 C to the display and confirm by pressing. Choice of the Pilot Wire order* during the Economy mode. Correction possible from -5 C to +5 C in increments of 0.1 C. Press the + or - buttons to make changes, and confirm with the button. Economy (by default) Modérato (Comfort -2 C) Médio (Comfort -1 C) *only in 6-order Pilot Wire. Whatever the choice, the screen will display the symbol. - 10 - - 11 -

Advanced configurations (menu 2) With the tempo rate Only with a PLC RADIO GP8 The price programming is used to select a lower temperature (economy) in periods when electricity is most expensive (e.g. peak hours, red day). In the 2-06 configuration, the tariff reduction mode can never be lower than parameter 2.03 (see table): Tariff reduction Eco Temporel Economy (Configuration 2-06 = 0) Economy (Configuration 2-03 = 0) Comfort - 2 C (Configuration 2-03 = 1) Comfort - 1 C (Configuration 2-03 = 21) Comfort -2 C Comfort - 1 C Choice of tariff reduction during Comfort mode. Periods of tariff reduction can be programmed on your electronic meter (refer to the meter s instructions). - 12 - - 13 -

Radio association (menu R) This menu lets you associate all the installation s radio products (transmitters and receivers) with the RADIO DRIVER. Go to the radio association menu Consumption indication function To associate a consumption indicator with the RADIO DRIVER (e.g. RADIO TYWATT) Press the R button. Home automation features on the installation Home automation products can be associated with the system (see receiver guide). Compatibility with transmitters from the TYXAL, TYXIA and TYDOM ranges (Delta Dore). Press to confirm and go to the next mode. - 14 - Consumption indication function No consumption indication Consumption indicator Press on + or - to display 1 flashing. Confirm on the RADIO TYWATT. Check on the RADIO DRIVER that the display 1 is no longer flashing. The RADIO DRIVER and the RADIO TYWATT are associated. - If you do not have any associated PLC RADIO GP8: press the button 3 times to display zone rad 1 (see the section on Associating wireless receivers ). - If you have an associated PLC RADIO GP8: refer to the PLC RADIO GP8 installation guide. - 15 -

Radio association (menu R) Associating wireless receivers with the RADIO DRIVER To associate the radio receivers, press on as many times as needed to display the zone to associate (e.g. zone rad1 ). On the receiver, press the button until the LED flashes (~3 seconds). To associate a Radio D30 wireless/infrared gateway, press the MODE button for 3 seconds. On RADIO DRIVER, at the zone rad1 screen, press the i button. Check that the receiver s LED is no longer flashing. The receiver is associated with zone 1 of the RADIO DRIVER. Restart the procedure for all the receivers to be associated with zone 1. Press to move to the next zone. Exit the radio association menu To quit the radio association menu, turn the knob to the right. - 16 - Option configuration (menu 3) Menus 3-12 to 3-18 can only be accessed if RADIO DRIVER is associated with a RADIO TYWATT or with a PLC RADIO GP8 (and its counting function). To access the display of consumption, heating, DHW and other uses, you must declare the number of CTs (current transformers, ref. 6330004) associated with the RADIO TYWATT option. For further information, contact your electricity provider. We advise you to round to the nearest cent. E.g. 0.1085 euros is 0.11 euros. - 17-0.11 euros (incl. tax)

Removing radio associations To cancel all radio associations, turn the knob to, then hold the i button down for 5 seconds. IMPORTANT: the consumption value that you can read on the digital screen is a non-contractual indication and cannot be substituted with the consumption value mentioned on your electricity bill. Then press the button to confirm the reset. After menu 3 has been configured, the unit returns to the choice of menus. To exit the configuration, turn the knob to the right. - 18 - - 19 -

Return to the factory configuration Returning to the factory configuration is possible for each of the menus. Turn the knob to, then press and hold the i button for 5 seconds. Press the button of the menu you wish to reset, and hold the button for 5 seconds (example for menu 1). Radio test Turn the knob to, then hold the 2 nd button (from the top) down for 5 seconds until test appears. 5 sec. Then press the button to confirm the reset. The receiver LED flashes each time it receives the frames. If this happens, radio transmission is occurring correctly. Turn the knob to exit the test mode. If this does not occur, move your transmitter. Follow the same steps for the other menus. To exit this mode, turn the knob to the right. - 20 - - 21 -

There is no power supply. Check the batteries. The i symbol flashes. A fault has been detected in the system. Press the button to consult the fault or faults. The receiver does not accept orders from the transmitter. Check the transmission by performing a radio test. Move your transmitter if necessary. Repeat the radio-controlled association of the receiver with the RADIO DRIVER. The indication is displayed. The batteries are low. Change the batteries, making sure they are the right way round. You wish to associate a home automation feature and the screen displays ----. You have reached the maximum number of functions to associate. The unit displays: def7. Communication fault with the electronic meter. Check the connection with the meter. The unit displays: def and a number other than def 7. There is a fault on the unit that requires it to be returned to our after-sales service. Contact our customer service department. - 23 -
